20250602 One of my pups hasn't been eating much, and I know she loves Bojangles. I drove almost 30 mins out of the way on my way home from work to get her some Bojangles dark meat fried chicken. She doesn't like white meat. I ordered 8 pieces dark meat, and the employee at the drive thru even confirmed it while I was paying for my order. Should have remember to check my order before driving away. When I got home, I sadly saw white and dark meat in the box š©, and the chicken was a bit more dry than all the Bojangles meal I have gotten all over in the SouthEastern States. So disappointed. Thankful, my pup ate 1 drumstick and 1 thigh tonight. 20230616 DO NOT DRIVE OFF WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR ORDER!! I ordered 2 thighs and 1 leg (3 piece dark meat). I got home and the box only contained 1 thigh and 1 leg. It's too far for me to drive back for the missing thigh. I got them for my dog, and now, she does NOT have enough to eat! š¤¬š¤¬š¤¬ 20220424 2nd time here. The service was pretty slow since I was 2nd in line. The employees were professional but not as friendly as the other Bojangles that I have eaten at down South - VA, NC, SC. I was surprised that they made bone shaped biscuit for dog visitors at the drive thru. The nice black lady helping out at the drive thru this afternoon gave my dogs each one. Unfortunately, they were not interested but one of them, who loves Bojangles, has been carrying it around the house including to bed with her. 202112 This is my first time here. Im so excited to drive by this Bojangles!! All the Bojangles I have eaten at, and a lot of then, were in Southern/Central VA on Rt 81, and all over NC and SC. My meal always comes with 3 piece dark meat, a biscuit, 2 sides, and a drink. Even when I only got 3 piece dark meat, a biscuit always came with the chicken. Today, at this location, I got 3 piece dark meat and 2 sides. I asked if a drink comes with the meal, and he said No. When I got home, there was no biscuit in the box, and the meal was $9. Is this Northern Virginia pricing? I don't remember how much I paid, I will have to look it up since I just spent a week in Statesville/Mooresville NC and down to Columbia SC, and got back last night. I had Bojangles everyday last week on my trip down to Columbia and back, because one of my pups loves ā¤ļø Bojangles!! Tonight, she only ate a chicken thighs. A bit disappointed that I didn't get a biscuit. I do appreciate the employee at the drive thru gave me a brief history of Bojangles. The history is fascinating! I'm glad my pup loves Bojangles. I don't eat that mich meat, but I do love the Bojangles...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRecently went here to try Bojangles for the first time since a friend has always raved about it. Food was delicious! The dark meat chicken was crispy, juicy and nice and hot! Definitely prefer it over Popeyes and KFC. Biscuits are soft, delicious and not at all dry. Good options for sides, but the mac and cheese could be better so I'd recommend one of the other options instead. Not a sweet tea drinker myself, but my roommate said it was great!
I went through the drive thru and was happy to hear and see a manager actively helping his staff organize and fill the orders. It's nice to see management helping their team and get things moving rather than barking orders.
My main reason for give 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I went through the drive-thru the cashier forgot to give me my card back after ringing me up. I'm fairly certain she was new and believe it was an honest mistake, but that is a big thing to forget. I hadn't realize until later that night and was able to go back and get it the next morning. The cashier inside knew exactly what I was talking about and said it'd happened a couple times that night. She was very friendly and got it for me quickly despite them being busy and their drive-thru register being down. What surprised me though is that a manager hadn't put my card, and however many others there were, in an office or safe to keep them secure. I haven't seen any fraudulent charges as of the time of this review so the staff appears to be honest people who wouldn't steal a card.
If management does happen to see this, I hold no hard feelings, I worked customer service for many years and know accidents like this happen, but please emphasize in your training that cards should be handed back before anything else because it doesn't reflect well on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Bojangles for the first time with my cousin. Itās about a 30-minute drive from my place, and we decided to go because a friend recommended it. We ordered about $40 worth of food, and although it took around 20 minutes for our order to come out, I didnāt mind since I was looking forward to the food. At first, there werenāt many customers, and the staffās service seemed fine.
However, about 5 minutes into our drive home, I checked the food and noticed that two orders of fries were missing. We had no choice but to turn around and go back. When we returned, the restaurant was a bit busier. After waiting for the staff member, I told her our fries were missing. Instead of putting them in a takeout bag, she just placed the two fries on a dine-in tray and said, āHere you go.ā We had to transfer them into our bag ourselves, which didnāt feel very hygienic, and she didnāt even apologize.
When we got home, the fries we had originally received were already soggy and dry. On top of that, the chicken sandwich I ordered as a deluxe was wrong ā they had given me a regular chicken sandwich instead. The sandwich was in a box, so it was difficult to check in the car. If we hadnāt gone back, our order would have been missing two fries and my deluxe sandwich would still have been replaced with a regular one. In total, there were three mistakes in a single order.
This whole experience wasted my time, left me very disappointed, and honestly frustrated. I wonāt be...
