Hometown Brand Center(new only) — Local services in Stillwater

After having to buy and later return a cheap Costco washer/dryer combo, I learned my lesson. I initially went into Hometown to buy a Speed Queen 7 washer, but I was not clear on the feature differences between the 5 and the 7. The sales lady was kind, attentive, and not pushy to up-sell me on anything. I ended up being able to swing the 5 series washer AND dryer, and we are very, very pleased with our investment. Hometown was able to bump our delivery and install up to same-day, and they were very communicative via text about when the tech would arrive. It has been a nightmare!!! I don't normally post negative comments, as in this is my very first one. If I could give negative stars, I would. I bought a nice dishwasher from them.y mother had used them before and we had no problems. They charged me for installation, which the techs that came out said "you need a plumber". They gave a referral and the plumber said everything was OK and sent me a bill. The dishwasher flooded my floor and Hometown Brand put it back on the plumber and had the audacity to tell me that "anyone would be able to figure this out, as if it was my fault they can't get their act together. Some communities have businesses they think are valued because they are enticing to look at building wise...almost like a set up. Which is ironic, because this place was hard for me to find when I first drove by it. And yet, like a spectacular Mexican Food hole-in-the-wall concept, the worse it looks on the outside...the more amazing it is on the inside. The BEST customer service in town.
