Red Rock Bakery & Deli — Restaurant in Stillwater

The food was edible and there were things on the menu that both my partner and I could eat. We were really excited to try the pesto tomato provolone grilled cheese, roasted red pepper tomato soup & the buffalo chicken Mac & cheese topped off by a fresh baked lemon bar.

The tomato soup and grilled cheese were pretty standard. Nothing stood out. The pesto sauce was super thin & drippy. The buffalo Mac was fancy looking and probably the best thing we tried but again nothing spectacular. The lemon bar was all dough with a thin 2mm thick line of lemon on top & had a super strange after taste. It was plain not good.

The boy helping us seemed to be too stoned to speak in full sentences. The table we sat at, with literally nobody else on the restaurant, was dirty. If they step up their game they have a real shot at...

It’s a basic bakery so the food is bakery quality, but their prices have gotten so high it’s seriously ridiculous. They keep improving the location so I guess nobody else minds the prices lol but $4 for a 3” round cookie is about twice the price it should be, amongst other items that are equally or more overpriced. I really loved this place before they got so “fancy” and I’ll still go for the pecan bars because pecans are expensive so that price seems fair to me but anyways just a heads up if you’re thinking of eating here, plan to spend at least $20 per person and that’s probably before you pick a dessert even. Yes. At a bakery/deli. For a sandwich, not a foot long one or two foot long ones. Just one regular size sandwich. It’s tasty for sure but pretty pricey. The service is great though so...

I will honestly probably never go back after our experience today. We arrived and went inside with the intentions to see if they still sold loaves of bread, as they have before and even sliced them for us. My mom lives out of town so bread from Red Rock was always a treat for her to take with her. The girl working the counter seriously upset me with the way she talked to my mom. We were trying to ask if they still sold fresh loaves of bread and the way she handled the question was in poor taste. She made my mom feel horrible for even asking. Maybe down the road I will return, but the customer service was horrible and seeing my mom upset was enough for awhile. I miss the old Red Rock and the wonderful hospitality you received upon...
