Most computer and cell phone repair shops only swap out motherboards and other components, but the batteries for my Waterpik Toothbrush needed to be un-soldered and new ones soldered in place. Tiggar’s in Lithonia is one of the few places that have the expertise to perform board level work.

Their willingness to do something non-standard says a lot about how they serve the community. The work took less than an hour. While I was waiting, a customer came in with a cell phone purchased online. I observed how they quickly diagnosed the problem and gently explained how to check the IMEI number before making any future purchases.

When I came in, I explained to the technician that my computer wasn't charging. He then took the computer to the back, removed the back, and connected his device to test it. Minutes later, he came back and said it would be $40 to diagnose after he took it apart, instead of saying this upfront, while I'm thinking he's going to find the problem, to let me know what the issue was and how much the repair will cost. My gut instinct was not feeling him taking the computer out of my sight and claiming it to be something more than what it was, and wanting to keep the computer. Especially coming back "after the fact" with a diagnostic fee of $40. I declined to leave the computer because after that, I didn't feel comfortable. Hours posted 10:30am-8:00pm Horrible service

I dropped my daughters cell phone off yesterday at 5:50pm and I came back at 7:34pm before they closed at 8pm and they were closed!! I did not get a call saying they were closing early nor did I get a call saying the phone is or is not ready! Then I called at 10:30 am the next morning and came here at 12:20 and they still are not open!! Very unprofessional. The least they could do is call their customers to inform them of their hours.
