I went in the evening on 3/1/25. I grabbed my bag of candy and went to checkout, mind out it was 25 minutes before close. Once I walked up front both ladies working continued talking in the front right part of the store and I didnāt know where I was supposed to go to pay for my item. I asked ā do you want me over here?ā And the lady said āhere, where the light isā in a rude condescending way as if I was ignorant for not knowing what to do. I always ask every cashier everywhere I go ācan I have my receipt please?ā Because I keep them all and some cashiers donāt even ask if you want it. I asked her, she said āIām getting itā again, in a rude tone. Iām not one to take my receipt and walk away and not say anything but I did. I have been coming to this dollar tree over the one in Aurora for months because of cashiers being rude at the Aurora location. I may just start getting my candy somewhere else. You never know what someone is going through and especially if youāre working a job around customers, you should always just be kind. No need to have an attitude and treat me like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere's very nice woman at checkout and I felt bad for her because the other woman was doing truck and couldn't help her get the line down. I've worked in retail for the majority of my life but I just felt so bad because with glassware you have to wrap each one in paper... a very nice woman was buying around 50 or so glasses. She was kind and even split her transactions to help, but myself and a few others still stood in line for a while.
It wasn't a problem buuuutttt it could have been had the customers not been so understanding. When the line started to build 5+ people... honestly my heart went out to the cashier because I've been in her shoes many times. Luckily everyone in line was very understanding and I told her to never apologize because the retail business can get so crazy sometimes.
I understand how important it is to get truck done but at the end of the day if someone asks for help, especially those that are guest-facing... The...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe cashier was very attentive ( 5 stars to her) Friday at 3:40 p.m. But my bad experience was with the manager. While the cashier was ringing up the manager openly said not to wrap my glassware if there's a line. There was only 1 person behind me. My comment as a customer " Oh I only spent $50.00 if it breaks I'd have to buy more. Right?? " This manager needs to go back to be educated on customer care. She doesn't need to be in higher end position. The customer is who is the one that serves the business. How dare she treat me like my business doesn't matter. A simple wrap to help. She needs to be reevaluated on serving the public!! Insulting for me as a customer. Im sorry to say this but it made me very upset. Dollar tree reevaluate your upper management. This one needs all the help they can get!! The aisles so crammed one cart is only able to get through. The end caps piles boxes. What a...
