Harbor Freight — Local services in Streetsboro

First i wanna say that i have been coming to this location for quite some time now and always left with quality merchandise at reasonable pricing. But, my experience with the staff and manager today motivated me enought to sit down and write this review. Yesterday (May 03) i came into harbor freight to purchased a 2 piece tool box. Right off the bat the sales associates and cashiers were very friendly and went out of their way to make the transaction as easy as possible. They loaded the box onto the truck and off i went with my new box. However, sadly when i assembled my new box, i noticed that a drawer on the side cart was dented in a unacceptable way. I called this location back up and discussed the issue with the lady who picked up the phone on the second ring. They apologized for the inconvenience and requested that i return the side cabinet for a new one free of charge. So i went back to the location that same day and they were ready for me. The manager and another member of the staff personally oversaw that my replacement cabinet was in mint condition and took the time to load it into my tiny little sedan with no hassle to me. I left and will be putting the cabinet on the box tomorrow. Thank you to the manager and staff for making this as easy for me as possible. 10/10 will come...

Very nice and organized store. They have a huge selection of tools. From automotive to gardening to welding to toys. They have a small selection of just about any category. But if you are looking for a very dependable tool... Something you will use everyday, then I would go elsewhere. But if you are looking for something that you would only use occasionally, then this is the place. The prices are extremely good. For their power tools, the quality has drastically improved. They used to carry one one throw away line of power tools (Chicago Electric,). But recently they started carrying three brands of power tools. I have not used these new brands, but the quality looks allot better when compared side by side. The reason for the four stars is the check out process always seems to take longer than it should. But nothing that would cause me to complain it go...

I bought an item and forgot about the 20% coupon that is routinely offered online that I had in the car with me at the time of purchase. I went back to the next day and try to get a whopping seven dollars off for my purchase in accordance with the coupon. I was told that it was a prior purchase and excluded. I tried to call the store to get an explanation, and was put on hold forever. For context, I did the same thing at Home Depot a few weeks back, and there was no trouble in getting the small discount applied. For me, this place is Shystie and deserves no future business from me, or anyone else. A store that acts like an insurance company that excludes pre-existing conditions is just destined to fail and be a miserable customer experience.
