Bob Evans — Restaurant in Streetsboro

I have always enjoyed Bob Evans. Tonight was a BAD experience. We were seated quickly. Then there was confusion as to what waitress had what table which seemed to continue during the evening. Our waitress took our drink order and did not bring it for quite some time. She came and took our dinner order and I ordered the prime rib, which has been so heavily advertised. She came back a few minutes later to tell me that they were out of prime rib, which is something that I have heard has happened to several people I'm acquainted with. I then ordered turkey instead. A few minutes later when the food arrived she said there was a miscommunication they did have prime rib left. The prime rib was pretty much ice cold with none of the au jus that is supposed to be served with it. my baked potato while seemingly cooked was for some odd reason somewhat crunchy. The prime rib had a rather odd taste to it and the texture was rather rubbery. The center portion of the piece was more meaty but the entire piece of meat was extremely salty. My husband ordered the fish, and his french fries were obviously pre cooked and not hot. Our waitress was very sweet. I do not fault her for any of these issues. Either corporate is not ordering a sufficient amount of food, (we were actually told there was no salad available because it froze on the truck), or there is insufficient training and supervision. Two people walked out of the restaurant while we were sitting there. A gentleman was at the counter said he was calling corporate because of the way he was spoken to. I do not know who the manager is or where she or he was, perhaps the kitchen was a short-handed as the floor apparently was. Perhaps he or she was cooking or perhaps doesn't know what they're doing or perhaps just didn't want to come out of the office. I did not ask to speak to a manager, I did not complain about the food to our server. I am extremely disappointed in a restaurant that have always enjoyed going to. I do not believe I will order the prime rib again. I guess I'll stick with breakfast. I think there has been a definite downturn in many ways since Bob Evans sold the restaurant off to...

This place need to have the cook pay attention! This is my 4 order that I had to drive back to the restaurant to get the correct pancakes for a meal. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes for my daughter and each and everytime I'm going back up to get the chocolate chip pancakes because I got blueberry pancakes. Thank God my daughter is smart and checks her food before eating. She is allergic to blueberries. So this last order i called it in figured the cook would see the words CHOCOLATE CHIP written out and actually get it right. Well I was wrong. Another trip back up there. Can't tell me the cook was overwhelmed because he was cooking tonight of food. There were 2 tables that had people sitting. Even when picking up correct food still dead inside. My attention to detail dude. There's a big difference in blueberries and chocolate chips. I'm sure you smelled blueberries when cooking the wrong food. If I decide to go back to this location since 5 mins from my house maybe I'll have them show me the chocolate chips being added but again your grown no need for babysitting. 7/10/23 Was told 15 - 20 minute wait, 6 to 7 customer get done eating & leave, randomly she sat one new couple, then 2 more finished & left, every time a couple would leave you had at least another 5 to 6 minute wait before she sat a new couple down, a young lady with her elderly veteran father stood up because they knew they were next to be called, her father was elderly needed assistance to walk, and the lady that was sitting people was so rude and nasty. She’s been there for several years and she just isn’t friendly customers I should be. She only sat three people down from the time that we arrived. We were there a good 45 minutes. I got up and looked and seen more than over have to tables were empty, but they would not sit customers at them.
