I give the five stars not actually to Target but to a very special worker who I met there this past Christmas season. I wish I could remember her name. I was shopping n tired, and I couldn't find the toy my granddaughter wanted for Christmas. I walked around n around till I wanted to drop. I couldn't find a helper in toys. I started to look outside the department, to find anyone, that could help. It was then, a woman with the most purest heart came to help. She walked with much difficulty. You could see she battled physical challenges. But graciacly, she stopped what she was doing in another department to help me. I said I'm sorry I'm taking you from your work but I couldn't find anyone. She smiled and said, it's ok, I'm here to help. She walked and walked with me trying to find the item, and we couldn't. She could have left it right there, but she said I can show you similar items. While we walked we chatted. The state said she wasn't disabled enough for monetary help. So the poor thing works at Target and then goes home and takes care of her aging mom. A smile never left her face. I hugged her Merry Christmas, and thanked her for being such a caring person and hard worker. "Target", you hired a beautiful person. She deserves praise and a raise. If I can remember her name or have the privilege to run into her again, I will post her name to give her the recognition...
Read moreThe representatives there act like they don't want to do their jobs. Fake it til you make it RETAIL 101. Went the day before Easter to get a couple kites. We asked a rep if there were any kites, he said there were none left. He didn't sound convincing because the site said 2 left at this location. We go to the aile and we found 10 kites. They really need to have someone supervising for inventory. Decided to have a Starbucks drink from there.. NOT THE BEST. Disappointed. Coming from NYC and going to PA for a Starbucks beverage I expected the same, if not better. Barista's look like they don't want to work. They don't even say, "next guest" poor...
Read moreI am biased against Target as they had me drive to three different stores in search of a TV furniture set. After working a twelve hour shift, I drove an additional four hours to find what I wanted. At the last store, they had the full unit but wouldn't match the price of the original store. This was 2007, seriously, Target wouldn't match it's own price. It is 2023 now and I haven't been back to the store. My wife likes Target, but most times I prevent her from going there. A thirty dollar difference, smart decision not to match the price, and I'll continue to cost them sales for stealing time...
