I need to go back here and try some other items before totally deciding, but this was a pretty rough stop. A few of my friends said this is their favorite Chinese takeout so I finally made it up to give it a shot. I got the shrimp with garlic sauce combo and an order of Szechuan wontons. The woman was friendly and spoke solid English. The establishment was downright greasy
but honestly what Chinese place isn’t? The wontons themselves had very little filling in them. It was all crunch and no body. The sauce was also just
not good. Tasted closer to American bbq sauce than it did any spicy Szechuan sauce I’ve ever had. Also zero spice to the sauce. There were also peas and carrots in the container. Like
what? This was a huge letdown. I ate 2. The shrimp with garlic sauce had 4 shrimp in the container. The shrimp tasted great, and their garlic sauce was solid, but 4 shrimp. I should have gotten the chicken. I normally order chicken with broccoli and have them sub garlic sauce when I get Chinese takeout. I should have done that. There was also a plethora of vegetables in this that were just taking up the space the shrimp were missing from. Baby corn, water chestnuts, large chunks of mushroom/onion/pepper, snowpeas
you name it. The one highlight of the food here was the fried rice wasn’t just generic yellowish rice in a container. This was actual fried rice, which is hard to come by in these parts. The egg roll was unremarkable. I’ll go back and try other stuff at some point but for now - Five Star Chinese -Sucked.

The Home away from Home! 😉 We are a family-oriented organization and love meeting new people. 😊 We love helping anyone & everyone and most of all, good company and friends! We do Bingo, Cornhole, Motorcycle and Softball to say the least. We'd love to have you for some beers and brews. đŸ»

My food was good, I got pork lomein and pork fried rice. I figured I'd stick with something safe cause I've heard the chicken is sketchy. The establishment itself, disgusting. A complete mess inside and dirty. There's no way OSHA has been there recently.

Disappointing Experience at Five Star They should be renamed 1 star ! Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant experience tonight. While the food itself I have not eaten yet, what really stood out was the appalling behavior of the staff. From the moment I walked in, I felt uncomfortable by the way I was treated—there seemed to be an underlying sense of racism in the way I was addressed and served.

The staff was dismissive and inattentive, and when it came time to pick up my order, the service was rushed and impersonal. It was disheartening to be treated this way, especially when other patrons were given much more courteous attention.

I truly believe that everyone should feel welcomed and respected in any restaurant, and this experience left me feeling disappointed and upset. I hope the management takes the time to address these issues and ensure that all customers, regardless of background, are treated with fairness and dignity.

While I cannot speak to whether this behavior is reflective of the entire establishment, it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. I won’t be returning...

the first thing I noticed about this place is how hard it is to find. situated behind a Sonoko and sharing a building with a gas company, without google maps I would have never found it.

Inside the building is your typical chinese hole-in-the-wall, nothing special, though the size of the dining room means it's better for takeout than eating in, at max you're going to get 4 people at a table., and the interior is really nothing special. the kitchen is in full view, and clean.

I ordered a large pork lo mein and 2 eggrolls; I didn't call ahead and walked out with my food in about 15 minutes. The noodles came in a paper carton. The noodles surprised me a bit, back down in Bethlehem they are usually pretty dark and laden with sauce. these noodles were quite a bit lighter than what I'm used to, though just as good. The eggrolls were crispy and even after driving 45 minutes home, didn't get soggy.

Overall a great...
