Today visited the store to buy a few things since itās been closed for COVID-19.finally was happy to shop at TJ maxx never had an issue at this store till today checked out all my stuff noticed and mentioned to the cashier why is the total so high?? So we realized the sale price wasnāt scanned so he called the Assistant manger (Bill) his vibe was pretty much miserable. But any how Wanted to get to the bottom of the pricing he decided to check at the back never came back. So I asked for him to come back and discuss a resolution to honoring me the sale price he refused to do so and said to me in front of all cashiers, customers that most of the time these things happen and customers tend to change price tags I was in shock for him to Insinuate as well as insult Accuse me to be such a person. I couldnāt believe what was said treatment I received at this location He had no shame in Embarrassing or Stereotyping me an honest customer as well as a mother. I then asked for the manger he said he was the only manager when in fact heās an assistant manager. Then continued to offend me without giving a care that I told him Iām going to file an complaint he just had no care and suggested to please do so Iām disgusted that some one like this works with the public and treat people like common Criminals. I will do my best to have this assist manger ( BILL) Reprimanded behavior like this no Honest human being should be Indoor when shopping at this store. As long as heās a manager at this TJ maxx beware!!!! Highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst, the makeup section is a mess ā lots of open, empty, or half-empty boxes. Clearly, theft is an issue (which is terrible), but the lack of effort from management to prevent it or remove these items from the shelves is disrespectful to paying customers, who might accidentally buy a half-empty product.
Second ā and the main reason I wonāt be returning ā the checkout experience is unbearable. Thereās relentless pressure to sign up for the store credit card, and then comes the guilt-tripping for donations āto save children.ā If I say no once, please donāt keep asking me to āround up.ā Itās awkward and unnecessary. If I want to donate, Iāll choose the charity myself ā I donāt need a store to ādonate on my behalfā (and frankly, it feels like a sneaky tax write-off for them).
I know cashiers donāt make the rules, but corporate should stop forcing them into making customers uncomfortable. Iām switching to Target...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually have a good experience here but last night left a poor taste in my mouth.
We were there not long before close and grabbed a leather purse and a decorative Christmas box to wrap it in that had a ton of glitter on it. The cashier, instead of wrapping them seperatly, SHOVED them both in the same bag before I could ask her not to and coped an attitude when I asked her if we could swap out the purse as it was a gift and was now absolutely covered in glitter and would be a nightmare to clean before gifting it to my mother before the holiday.
When she got the manager involved, we were treated like we were trying to pull a scam rather than just trying to swap the item that the cashier had inadvertently ruined. Getting fine glitter off of leather is annoying and not something anyone wants to deal with.
Not sure when I'll be back to this particular...
