I come in just about every night running door to door delivery services that partner with stop and shop and other stores, and I typically bring my 3 year old and service animal in with us. There's normally a very nice man monitoring the self checkout area and is always so helpful and friendly. Tonight, he was replaced by a few young adults, one male and female. This is my first experience at a store where an associate has tried to get the attention and play with my service animal while I checked out an order. I'm not sure what lack of professional training this young girl has missed out on, but it is vital that store associates understand the risk of distracting a working service animal. Service animals go through vigorous training and maintenance to be able to aid persons with disabilities who require extra support while trying to navigate their everyday lives. It is an unfortunate risk on this location to have new untrained unprofessional employees intentionally endangering the lives of people in compromised situations that do not understand. I expect better of the stop and shop company and look forward to this location taking the opportunity to teach and promote growth within...

Two lane with a cashier were open (4pm on a Saturday not busy so that is not the issue). I went to the one closest to me and neither had lines to find out when I unloaded half my cart I was told the register was closed girl and had walked away. She was there at the register when I walked in the lane and the light was on. very disappointed and irritated. the lady that I checked out with was very nice, but I shouldnât have had to put everything back into my cart that I already unloaded before and could have said something to me prior to unloading my cart as we made eye contact in the lane. The light was on when I went into that line. Also have had issues with the Stop & Shop prior that were resolved with the manager who was kind. I wish I wouldnât have constant issues, as sadly this is my closest stop and shop location as if i could do my routine shopping at a different...
Read moreAbout 3 to 5 days a week I come here. I have a couple bunnies, and there's no where else I can find their Dandelions, which are their absolute favorite and always look good on the shelf. Between them, the Parsley and pre washed Kale, it's a must have, and they are well stocked in their produce. The employees I ask questions to are always friendly and helpful. They drop what they're doing and lead me right to the item I need. I'm a short person, and always need help getting to those top shelves. If it's not another customer that happens to be close in the area, finding an employee is fairly easy, and again, will help me with those items. Joe and April are a couple employees that have been super helpful while in the self...
