The Center at Hobbs Brook — Local services in Sturbridge

This is a great little shopping plaza if you on your way by and need to pick something up quick. This is a hub for all the locals in the area and all their shopping needs. It includes a Staples, Sleepys, verizon, and games stop in one parking lot with a Walmart, Stop and Shop, Michael's, and famous footwear. On the other side there is Marshalls and a newly opened Petco. This little plaza even has it's own movie theater! For restaurants the choices are pretty limited but their is a Uno's, Applebee's, and a Subway (inside Walmart) while Applebee's has a more kid friendly atmosphere. While it does have a bar the Uno's across the street takes the Cake for best bar in the plaza. The staff are friendly and they have a wide variety of cocktails and craft beer on tap. It's a decent little shopping plaza. The Walmart doesn't have full grocery (not a super walmart). But I guess there is a Stop and shop , although their prices can be a little high. There's a Citizens bank inside. The Petco , eh it's ok, the grooming needs to hire more people, it's very busy. We haven't visited the movie theater; so I cannot speak for that, and we don't use the banks. The Michael's is definitely the highlight of this plaza. They're pretty well stocked, have great clearances, and I can't think of one time they haven't had any crafty/school project /what you'd need at Michaels kind of item! The employees are also very helpful and nice I love the pick up, makes it so easy, and I spend less lol!!! I haven't visited anything else there so can't speak for anything else. There is multiple stores you can shop for almost everything/anything, take someone out on a date for dinner at the resturants like Applebee/Uno's, or even go out with friends to catch the latest action packed movie at Cinamagic. There's plenty of store to shop at like Wal-Mart, Dress Barn, Petco, Game Stop, Michaels & MORE. My fiance Amanda enjoys shopping at the stores in this plaza to buy everything from clothing, hair dye, make-up, cleaning product/supplies, arts or crafts supplies/prodjects, gifts, gift cards, gift baskets, Holliday/seasonal, home decore, costumes, pet supplies, tools, & so much More.
