Baby's & Kid's 1st -Sugar Land — Local services in Sugar Land

We have purchased several items from this store among them were an infant car seat, stroller with infant and toddler attachments, a top of the line folding stroller, and most recently a toddler car seat. My mother bought her car seats here and my sister in law too. Most of the time when purchasing from here either the item was not in stock and had to be picked up at the warehouse or wait a few days to receive it from the sister store in Richmond. We purchased a foonf car seat, it had to be delivered from Richmond store, the manager at the sugarland store tried the seat out in the car and said it fit, little did we know she meant the dimensions fit the backseat. So we ordered the chair and picked it up a few days later, this seat is designed with the anchor clips in a fixed position so it can only be positioned behind the passenger or drivers seat, not in the middle where it is safest. They never mentioned this at all, when we brought the chair back they said they could not return it because it had been opened...well of course we had to open it to install it and find out it couldn't be installed in the middle. After a call to customer service they said we had to take the chair to Richmond where the professional car seat installer works from and we had to go either Monday, Wednesday, or Friday...really inconvenient if you ask me, why bother having a store in sugarland? They said if the lady couldn't install it properly in the middle they would exchange it...well I'm pretty sure the anchors aren't going to fit in the middle most cars are designed with 4 anchors in the back seat. Not sure if we are going to bother with the exchange, I don't want to deal with baby's first ever again...maybe this situation was a first for them, I don't know but it's my duty to let anyone know about a bad experience...

The store itself is beautifully decorated, creating a calming yet vibrant atmosphere. We were impressed by the wide selection of items, from newborn essentials to school-age must-haves. The furniture pieces were stylish and practical, and the toys available were clearly chosen with brain development and learning in mind.

To top it all off, when Yvette learned my son was prior service, she made sure he received a military discount—a gesture we truly appreciated.

This place was fantastic! I’m so glad my husband and I decided to visit while we were debating between a few stroller options. As soon as we walked in, we saw they had a huge selection of products—from recliners to strollers and cribs. So many choices! Our main goal was to explore different strollers and figure out which one would be the best fit for us. Barbara was incredible! She noticed we were a bit overwhelmed and took the time to walk us through each stroller, explaining the pros and cons, showing us the various features, demonstrating how they worked, and even letting us try them out. Thanks to her, our decision was so much easier, and we left knowing exactly which stroller we wanted. We called about a week later to place the order, and they made the process quick and easy.
