I'd like to start by saying buying on Whiteflash has been an incredibly easy, satisfying and pleasant experience. A rare pleasure in the vast world of online shopping. So to start this story, I decided to take the plunge and buy an engagement ring. After seeing the incredibly expensive prices in my local shops, doing a bit of research and then looking online, I came across Whiteflash. I saw pretty quickly that I could purchase a very high quality (and fully certified most importantly) diamond for less than I could buy something of low quality locally. I had spoken to my fiancee about the ring and she had chosen the style and diamond size in a local jewelers. She has tiny hands and didn't want a massive stone on her finger as she's be wearing it everyday and was afraid of it getting caught in things, etc. So I had the size, looked on the website, then picked the colour and clarity I wanted along with the ring and engraving and boom I was done. Easy. As I live outside the US I emailed Whiteflash where Becca got back to me almost instantly. She explained about the wire transfer, which we don't use in Ireland so I filled that out in my local bank and it was done. I should mention that I was a tad nervous as it was quite a lot of money but there was absolutely no problems. As I was also proposing in 2 weeks Becca and her team starting making the ring for me before the funds had been received to make sure I had it on time. It was an incredibly nice gesture as they took a risk, granted they hadn't sent any merchandise so it's not like they were gonna lose out but they could have just as easily told me they would need to wait however many days till the funds cleared as is their right. This meant my ring arrived in plenty of time. So about 2 weeks ago I decided to purchase my Fiancee's wedding ring. My first thought was naturally Whiteflash, we had looked locally but I couldn't see myself not pairing the ring from them. Went online again, and as soon as I had placed my order Becca responded with a personal email thanking me for the repeat business and that it was glad it worked out. I know my details are saved on their system but it wasn't some faceless employee ticking a box. She made an actual effort to read the details and take a moment to make it personal. It's something so small but made a such a difference. I've actually never felt so confident making an online purchase as I do with them. Ring arrived really quickly, beautiful as the last one. I know this was a bit of a read but if your like me and your nervous, or indecisive then I hope reading a personal experience will help. I spent a lot of time researching different companies and reviewing. I had actually seen Whiteflash before but had come across some cheaper online retailers (not that much cheaper either, I was just inexperienced with regards to jewelery). Looking online at these cheaper stores and reading reviews of most of them, they say that they are great for taking your money and then there is zero after sale care. That doesn't work as anyone buying an engagement ring means that they have invested a large chunk of money towards something that is incredibly important to them, maybe the most important thing in their lives up to that. Not knowing where your ring is, when it will arrive etc is stress I know I could live without. There is no fear of that from the team at Whiteflash. On Packaging: For safety reasons, the order was delivered to a nearby FedEx location for pick-up, safely packed and insured. On Product: Pictures of the final ring were made available to me shortly after production. However I do get a lot of the same question of why does my engagement ring and wedding band not match on the sides. It’s a huge self confident issue when I do go out with it. Because I have shown customer service what I meant . And instead of giving me options on these beautiful very expensive rings my husband worked hard for and went with this company because he enjoyed the easy process of everything. I get an excuse of I’m sorry we will not be fixing your expensive rings to match in both side of your finger because your spouse did not buy the wedding band when he bought the engagement ring. Now here’s the issue most don’t buy a wedding band with the engagement ring till wedding day usually. And that’s what my husband did. We are talking about a very easy simple fix here. And giving oh I’m sorry we are too lazy to fix that for you since you paid for not just expensive rings but warranty on those rings that we won’t offer you assistance. As apparently no one told my husband he had to buy both of them at the same time to have them match and be fused together. Which makes no sense either because even if they were the length of the diamonds on the wedding band would still be too short to match the siding of diamond on the engagement ring. My husband now dosnt want to have another mishap with this company anymore since I said I would pay for the extra diamond if it came to it. And that I just want to live my ring and not have my ocd always bothering me about a simple fix. They did so well with letting me resize my rings . So I expected the same customer service to come for the lengths clearly not . I’m only giving the 3 days because I love the design and the quality and my husband paid for a beautiful cut and clarity diamond on my engagement ring and the rose gold is my favorite. It’s a true rose gold and great quality ring! I would rate service is a 3. Too many excuses to deal with and warranty should have these things covered because no woman should have to feel insecure about her rings because they don’t match properly. Which white flash should know better as a business as that ring is what represents this company. I’m still shocked they asked if I would give them a 5 star review after being told I’m out of luck and they won’t help me get this fixed. So be carful when you buy from them gorgeous rings and diamonds . But if you plan to get your spouse a wedding band later on or as an anniversary gift and they don’t match in both sides . They will treat you the same they did to me. Even with a warranty. So read the fine print details closely . EDIT : 6 K for the diamond itself. And about 2 k for the engagement ring for rose gold .
