Worst service ever! I have been a runner on and off for the last 15 years and as such have been to several running stores. I just moved into the area and decided to check out this running store and find out if I needed new shoes as well as bringing in my fiance and mother to get new shoes. Having been through the process of buying new shoes before I brought in my current pair of running shoes so that the helper at the store could check them for signs of wear and see if indeed it was time for some new shoes or not. The helper that I had didn't even look at my shoes and acted like I was crazy for thinking he needed to. I decided to continue with the process and he had me put on some shoes and run on the treadmill so he could videotape my stride. After looking at the video he informed me that whoever sold me my current shoes didn't know what they were doing and the stability shoes I was wearing were completely unnecessary. Now as I said I have been a runner for 15 years and know that I have always had problems (especially in my regular shoes) with overpronating but he was adamant that I was wrong because the 30 second video he took didn't show it. His attitude completely turned me off from buying anything. Not only did he loose my sale he completely ignored my mother because she upfront told him she did not want to spend a lot on shoes because she only runs occasionally. Which is odd since they had a big stack of sale shoes in the front of the store. The only reason my fiance bought shoes here was that he needed some for a race this weekend otherwise they would have lost all 3 sales instead of just the 2. Overall I don't plan on coming back or referring any of my runner friends here because it seems that they are more interested in just making a sale then having any sort of...
Read moreWell kept store and the associates greeted us upon entering. We came in looking for a pair of Hokas for my mom. She’s currently going through physical therapy for a slip disk and she has a long history of bunions thus needing wider shoes. One of the associate helped us measure her feet using their machine. We told him we were specifically looking for Hokas since it was recommended by her doctor, but the store was out of stock for her size and width.
This is where I started feeling uncomfortable cause it was very clear this was a push for a sale. He brought out other brands and told us every shoe there works just as good as Hokas which sure, I’m sure those other brands like Brooks are great. But then started getting snippy with me as I’m helping my mom with translating since she doesn’t speak much English. Every time I would tell my mom something, he would interrupt me to “correct” me. Every conversation had between us was very argumentative and pushy. He even questioned me where I buy my shoes?! This was so belittling.. I used to work in the shoe industry for 5 years so it’s fair to say I knew something about size and fit (Stride Rite)
Later he snapped at me saying no shoes have medical benefits and that wanting Hokas was just bologna and that any of the shoes he had in stock will work. The whole time we felt very pressured to just pick whatever he brought out to make a sale. Perhaps check a different location/store to see if they had the shoe we’re interested in? Maybe even suggest ordering it online for us? Whatever the case is, we’re definitely not interested in coming back nor recommending this location due to the...
Read moreMy experience at this shoe store was nothing short of excellent. I had been looking for a new pair of running shoes for a while, and I was immediately impressed with the store's vast selection of footwear. The store had a wide variety of running shoes from different brands, and the staff was knowledgeable about each one.
The salesperson who helped me was incredibly friendly and attentive. They asked me about my running style, foot shape, and previous shoe preferences, so they could recommend the best possible options. I appreciated that they took the time to listen to my needs and concerns, rather than just trying to sell me the most expensive pair of shoes.
Once we had narrowed down my options, the salesperson brought out multiple pairs Hokas for me to try on. They watched me run in each pair, making sure I had the right fit and that the shoe was comfortable for me. They gave me useful advice and suggestions throughout the process, which I found incredibly helpful.
In the end, I chose a pair of shoes that I absolutely love. They have made a significant difference in my running, and I feel much more comfortable and supported when I'm out on the road. I also appreciated that the store's prices were fair, and I didn't feel like I was being overcharged for my purchase.
Overall, I would highly recommend this shoe store to anyone in the market for a new pair of running shoes. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the selection of footwear is unbeatable. I will definitely be returning to this store for all of my future...
