Harvest Green Farmer's Market — Local services in Sugar Land

The market is open once a week, every saturday between 8 AM and noon. Only the vegetable stall is there every week but once a month, they do host other vendors. We just got lucky and went the day it was busy.

Most the other vendors were not really interesting for me, and even the main vegetables stall didn't have that high a variety of wares. Prices were steep, at least for me as I'm used to shopping at the big stores. I did buy a few items to try and support my local farmers, but don't know how sustainable that is.

For comparison, I bought a dozen eggs for $7 and a small jar of local honey for $10. I cant say I could tell much the difference in taste of the eggs, but that honey sure...

What a wonderful Farmer's Market! It's still small which is part of what makes it so wonderful because the vendors actually know and recognize their customers. Awesome little farmers market! Great vendors with a great selection of items (especially the baked goods at Wooden Whisk Patisserie). Currently (as of August 2021) only open the third Saturday of the month. Definitely worth the trip. They also have a very kid friendly area with two huge swings, a maze and others things to tire...
