If you fell in love with the original Spectators bar & Grill in Sugar Land off of 59 and 6 by the Whole Foods, please do not do yourself a disservice by going to the Harvest Green location. After a 68hour work week I was looking forward to a great meal from their new location. I don’t know how many times we’ve been in person and placed online orders from the other two locations with never having a problem. Placed an online order and it started out great with the order being ready before the estimated time and the bar tender, Briana’s, great customer service.( The only good thing to come from this location) Ordered their famous crispy chicken sandwich with everything on the side. Cook didn’t bother to read the simple instructions of everything on the side so the sandwich was soggy when I got home not to mention I had to make a trip back to the restaurant for a remake because I couldn’t eat it do to allergies. Wife ate the original I had the remake. For both sandwiches the chicken filet was bland, dry, and had to be swimming in sauce to have any flavor. The fries were the same way. Ordered the pretzels and queso blanco, pretzels were over cooked and felt like chewing on leather. Wouldn’t even feed them to my labradors who have ate leather boots. If going for just DRINKS at the Harvest green location, it’s great. If you want food, drive the extra 20-30min to one of the other locations and save yourself...
Read moreMy husband and I were on the way to another restaurant when we passed Spectators and decided to turn around and try it out. For $130 we got 4 pounds of crawfish, a pound of snow crab, 1/2 pound of boiled shrimp, and the bang bang shrimp appetizer. The appetizer was a lot of batter but it was okay. Wouldn’t order that again. The crawfish and snow crab had great flavor but unfortunately was overcooked. They were hard to peel and in the crawfish only half the meat would come out. The rest was stuck to the shell. That was really disappointing. The 1/2 pound of boiled shrimp was the best thing. It was delicious!! I would definitely recommend that. After I was finished eating, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was no soap and no paper towels. My husband said there was barely any soap in the men’s bathroom too. So I had to walk around the restaurant with dirty hands to look for someone to help me. I found a server and she did bring in soap and paper towels. I used to be a server/bartender and have never had to replace paper towels or soap in the bathroom. Aside from that server being super busy and stopping to refill the bathroom toiletries, there should be a busser or someone who is in charge of that. Also, a restaurant with both bathrooms out of soap, that’s pretty gross. Are the employees washing their hands? How? I’m not sure if we will be...
Read moreI was beyond disappointed on our experience. The food was good but not great. That being said, our experience was atrocious. We got our water but it was never refilled. That’s just the beginning. The server never check on us u till we asked. Not for our order or once after service. The MOD then to walk by our table a few times training a new server while speaking very loudly. He was explaining how the table numbers and layout were set. Giving her advice during dinner hours and stood right over my wife’s shoulder while doing so. I did ask him to train his staff another time or at least at a normal volume but it was not accepted. The prices are a little more than I feel are necessary. The view is nice and with a good experience I could see it being nice. But this was not our experience. He kept walking through the walkway and training over our dinner. Ruined the experience and ensured we will never go back. Love the college station location but this one was ruined for both of us. Unacceptable service for what we...
