I have been coming here for 3 years now. I only come twice a year, and have only had pedicures done but was always pleased with my experience. Today was a nightmare. I asked for dip nails as per their website it listed $40 for that with a manicure. After waiting a while in the lobby, the lady from the front brought me back to a chair where another customers belongings were still clearly there. She instructs me to sit there, that the tech is almost done. The girl next to me said someone was sitting in the seat I was in. Turns out the customer simply went to the bathroom. So I had to move when she came back. The nail tech KNEW the girls nails weren’t finished and still left me sitting in her seat. So finally it’s my turn. Cathy was the one doing my nails. She told me that the dip powder manicure was going to be $50. I asked how much would it be for shellac because for $50 I would get a full set not just a manicure. She said $30 for the shellac manicure. I said ok, let me get shellac. Cathy proceeded to SHOUT (literally) across the entire salon “SHELLAC????? Shellac?????! But you said Dip!!!!!” And then spent the entire rest of the time she worked on my nails talking about how dip was fancier and made your nails stronger, and I explained that I knew that, that’s why I wanted it but wasn’t going to pay $50 for it. Then when drying my nails, the bulbs in her dryer were dying which resulted in one of my thumb nails not drying all the way. When she went to do the top coat and it smeared because the color wasn’t fully dry, Cathy snapped at me to turn my hands a certain way because now she has to redo it. Got an attitude with ME because SHE has shotty equipment. The final straw was her snipping my cuticles so aggressively she cut me and I left the salon bleeding. I am assuming that only the women who do pedicures there are friendly, because I have NEVER been treated or talked too like that before ever in my times coming here. Lost a customer...
Read moreI came here for the first time on Saturday August 7th, it was definitely the nicest looking nail salon I have ever visited so you would think the work would be far better than the shoddy work I received. a lady named lynn worked on my nails, I showed her a picture and she said that she could do it. The design is fairly simple; 4 black stiletto nails and one black swirl design on a white accent nail. (as pictured below) The lady then proceeded to tell me it would be $70 for a full set which I happily agreed with assuming I would get exactly what I asked for. But (as you can see below) what I got was two poorly executed swirls (one that isn't even comparable to a swirl), and rounded stilettos formed from dollar store nail tips & glue that completely popped off within four days of getting my nails done while I was flipping through racks of clothing. Unfortunately, I live far away from Houston, otherwise, I would go back and demand a refund. I've paid $45 for a way more complex set that stayed on for weeks. I would never...
Read moreI went to get my nails and lashes done at this place. I assumed and brought into account that I’d probably have to pay a little bit extra due to the coronavirus but when I went in to get my nails and lashes I left with 168 dollars less in my pocket. I initially told the person who did lash extensions that I wanted clusters which are 35 dollars. She told me ok and I went into the room to get my lashes done. It took about one hour and when I was finished and went to pay my service I was charged 100 dollars for my lashes because the tech put on individuals instead of clusters. I expressed to them clearly that I did not want individuals and have never gotten individuals before and they blamed me for a lack of communication. I ended up paying the fee to avoid confrontation but I will never go back there again. (And the 100 dollars I paid for these lashes arent worth it because they are thin and sparse. They arent full at all and dont look better than clusters. I put on falsies at home and they would look better than what...
