UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER!
12/2/15, today, I was at HEB 14498 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77083 at around 3:20pm.
I was picking out items for my purchase when I felt something fall onto my head. I looked up to see what it was and more particles fell...but, now, onto my face and into my left eye.
My first thought was I need to get these people to stop so I can continue my purchase without something else falling on me or anyone else. That was all I really wanted at that moment. So I went to the nearest HEB employee, who happened to be in the Deli department and asked her to call management and get them to stop whatever was going on above. She quickly called and came back to advise that someone from management was on the way to meet with me. I thought to myself "what a waste of time", all I wanted was to complete my purchase quickly and leave.
Manager arrived with two other people beside him. (He was not professional enough to introduce himself so I didn't get his name but, after speaking with someone at HEB Corporate office, found out his name was Johnny.) He dove right into asking me what happened (didn't even bothered to ask if I was ok). I pointed to the ceiling and told him what happened and asked them to stop as their work is causing particles to fall. His reply was that HEB leased the property and the landlord is fixing the roof, that he will relay the message to HEB corporate. I started to get upset at this point because no matter what I said, he really was not listening and kept referring back to the property owner and HEB Corporate. Out of anger, I did tell him that he was just giving me a load of "crap". So it's not HEB's responsibility (locally) to immediately find a solution to protect its customers?? Even if there was no way to stop the contractors from working, HEB could've sealed of the area directly under the work to protect its customers but somehow, because the work had been going on for over a month, it's implied that it's not a big deal because I am the only one that something happened to??
I am angry. Steps to help me alleviate my irritated eye were not taken. The manager asked for my information so he could file a claim, just in case my eyes get infected later. He could've simply asked if I was ok, offered to take me to get my eyes rinsed out or get something to rinse out my eye, and figured out how to immediately secure the area so no one else is affected, I would've been a happy camper...but, no, not even an apology for this happening inside their store but a brush of responsibility to the landlord and to HEB Corporate to handle something this minute. HEB needs to hire managers who care about their customers not only...
Read moreMission Bend Community! Listen up, when you go in this HEB now, what a difference! The new Manager, Ms Anika has turned this store completely around!
When you walk in the produce is neatly arranged and stocked like the HEB PLUS stores. The floors are cleaner, the seafood is stocked, the shelves are stocked, and arranged neatly and tightly for purchase.
REALLY, I walked down every isle just to see what was going on.??? To my dismay, this store is in complete order as a grocery store should be . The items are easily found after the store has been rearranged. It all makes sense! Must l go on? The dairy section has never been good before... l would find spilled milk on top of egg cartons, open egg cartons, with cracked eggs, and or missing eggs OR two. Now, its a whole new ball game! All of this has since been corrected!
The frozen freezers are stocked to capacity, the wines and beers are stocked to capacity, the sodas are stocked to capacity. (Come on, tell Dr. Pepper to keep up with the evolvement here). They are always out! Which is good, but, bad when customers want it. (Like me)
All household merchandise is stocked too! I'm telling you, you must recognize and embrace the changes! The end caps are clean, and well displayed at the registers. No left behind merchandise sitting around, and there is always a sacker at the end of each register now. And, plastic bags. Which, l like paper better. Plus, there is always a manager on the floor visible if you need them as you approach the registers for checkout!
I am lovin' my "HERE'S EVERYTHING BETTER" store again, as day 1 when it relocated and opened its doors here on Bellaire. Keep this location beautiful and in...
Read moreI have been coming to this HEB for years, and I have never had a problem until today. I have one of their debit cards, and every week, I deposit money into it at the cash register. All cashiers are amazing. Today, I got Mary a store manager at this HEB (wearing a blue shirt) she obviously didn't want to be there by the look of her face and the way she didn't even reply to my hello. When I asked if I could please add money to my card She finally looked up and said "What? So I repeated very politely the same and she said "No, we don't do that here" I said, "but I do it every week and I've never had a problem" she didn't every replied, she just completely dismissed me and started scanning the items from the next customer. I said, "So you are just going to ignore me and she sure did, didn't even look at me. I can understand if a cashier doesn't know how to do it, I can understand if the person politely says I'm sorry I'm not aware or don't know how to do it, I wouldn't hold a line, but for a rude manager who doesn't want to do her job to be so rude and disrespectful I won't have it. I not only show at the store, whoever reads this if anyone there can check I show online and have big orders delivered every day, so does everyone in my family, this HEB just lost my...
