I placed a GRUBHUB order with them: 2 (L) soups of the day 1 hamburguesa callejera 1 carne asada 4 empanadas 1 blackberry juice 1 sugarcane drink My son ate the hamburger and said that it was really good. He later had the carne asada šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø There was MORE lettuce and tomato slices than MEAT! It was two tiny little pieces, and a baby cup of rice šŸ˜‘ We didn’t get the blackberry juice, and got a weird tasting one (I’m Colombian), and I still don’t know what that was. The soups… again, I’m Colombian, and I’ve never seen a soup where the ENTIRE potato is in the soup, and not cut in pieces. Mind you, that this was a HUGE potato. The ½ green plantain was all weird looking, as if it sat already peeled in the air which it got that blackish color… Then there’s the chicken 🤢 I opened ONE soup the day we got the order, and saw this big piece of chicken, and the skin looked so gross. I took it off and proceeded to cut the chicken… I get that we have to RIP the chicken in order to eat it, what I was NOT expecting was to see that the last days of this chicken were atrocious!!! It was completely pink! And not as in not cooked, but as in the meat was soooo saturated with blood and bruised that it was disgusting to eat it. I cut the big plantain and the huge potato, and the chicken (see the video…) but there’s NO WAY anyone could eat a chicken like that. It almost looked as if they bought the chicken else kinda cooked and just dumped it in the soup. BOTH soup containers were the same way. Not ordering from here again

I have no idea what they were trying to achieve, however the pork had perfect crunch on one side, overcooked in the middle and skin was undercooked on the end and the sausage was a link so no complaints on that..the beans were spoiled and smelled like sour milk., I told them to not put plantain on my plate but they did it any way..they tasted better than anything else on the plate..the steak no seasoning..everything had no seasoning of any kind..avocado still had the shell on..the egg I just didn't understand how to eat this plate..I think they should have put that pork in the beans...its a combo if sausage and eggs..beans and rice..pork and the cheapest cut of the steak..now that corn thing tasted like rubber. I give it 2 stars to be kind but it was not good..I will throw this plate away and order food somewhere else. I wanted soup but they didn't have the one I wanted.

A small place, especially good for meat lovers. I tried the typical Colombian Paisa Plate, which was a like a big sampler, including a thin-sliced beefsteak, big sausage, pork belly, red beans, rice, an egg, potato cake, fried banana and sweet potato...really enough for two to share, and topped it off with a nice blackberry smoothie. I would have rated it five-star, except that the dish should have included avocado and they were out, which wouldn't have been a big deal, but avocado was in season, so really no excuse. I asked for extra rice instead of the avocado, and was told I could substitute only fried banana or sweet potato, which I thought was not very accommodating. Anyway, just a small complaint, and the food was delicious, service good, and prices fair.

No pictures for this review because sadly they weren’t worthy. I’m always on the look out for Colombian restaurants so I have tried a couple in the area already, this one wasn’t good at all. The service was fine, nothing wrong with this, all the people were very nice, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We had two empanadas (we love empanadas) but even when they were ā€œhomemadeā€ which is hard to find, they basically have no meat at all šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø, it was all potatoes; I had a mango juice in milk and all I could taste was the milk, not much of the mango part. My boyfriend had the churrasco (16oz) and it wasn’t good meat, it was a bad cut of meat and we asked for medium rare, well it was very over cooked, the (what it seem to be chimichurri) was very disgusting (I’m sorry but can’t find another word for it), it tasted like pickles and vinegar. I had the cazuela de Mariscos, which it wasn’t too bad, the broth of the soup was very good, I had a hard time was with the fake crab that was in the soup, which it was too much and I personally don’t like the flavor of it. So we won’t be coming again but hope they improve their food in the future. But we discovered an amazing ice cream place next to the restaurant so at least the drive there...

I used to be a frequent customer. The food was balanced and well prepared, typical colombian food that can make you feel like home in a foreign country but today, and last time I came, the soup was salty, the waitress tried to justify this with the time of the day (what does time have to do with salt?! šŸ˜’) Anyways, as you can see in the pictures, more than the rice being mushy and the plantains overcooked, the thin layer of meat in the "chuleta" 🤯😱... come on! The restaurant has adopted a policy of "food out of the kitchen, food charged for" even if the food does not meet expectations. So, if this restaurant is still owned by Mr. "Pinocho" I have admired you for so long and hope you take my comment to revise any standards that might fall through the cracks. I put a lot of lemon on the soup to disipate the salt, and the "chuleta was ate because, as we say in our country, con hambre... cualquier cosa se come, aun las que no...
