I decided to bring my new, never worn upgraded engagement ring here to be sized based on all the great reviews. I was “warned” by some reviews of the condition of the shop. It was more shocking than I would’ve imagined. Still, I asked if my ring could be sized and I was surprised that the jeweler said yes come back in 30 min. I was unsure but decided to go and sit in my car and about 20 min later it was done. My beautiful brand new ring was in awful condition. I posted the pictures I took of it after. The 14kt gold band was bumpy and uneven and had dozens of deep scratches all over it. When I asked about why it looked so bad and it looks bumpy with tons of scratches, his response was “do you want me to keep messing with it?” I said absolutely not and left. My $2500 ring looked absolutely terrible. I found another jeweler about 10 min away who fixed London’s mess and my ring looks new again. If anyone is looking for a jewelry repair person, I would like for you to know that I have been using Bobby London for over 25+ years. I had used others before I meat Bobby, none of them does the quality work that he does. His prices are the fairest of anyone here in the LowCountry. Everyone that I have recommended use him, can’t believe the quality and price and tell me thank you for telling them about him. He use to work with his father in the Bi-lo shopping center until Hugo came and destroyed their store, then shortly after that his father died of cancer. He new that he had to go on and as hard as it was just trying to find a new place to set up shop, after trying several locations he found a small place across from the Summerville Library. I can’t say enough good things about him as he is always doing his best to give everyone the quality service he feels they deserve....
