Rekemeier's Flower Shops, Inc. — Local services in Summit

I will never go to another florist. Last week I was in a real jam and I needed flowers delivered at the last minute. I had no wiggle room. I had planned to pick them up, but had made a big miscalculation I won't go into which meant there was no way I could have picked the flowers up. The shop did not know, and could not have known, the importance of these flowers arriving on time, and at an address that was two towns away from their shop in Summit. All they heard was "I'm in a jam" and it was "say no more" -- the flowers were delivered (without requiring me to pay extra for delivery which I was happy to do) very much on time by a very nice gentleman. Do I have to say that the flowers were jaw droppingly beautiful? They were. This shop has been around for years and doesn't need my review to help them, but I do want everyone to know that Rekemeiers is a special place not just b/c the flowers are always going to be top quality (yes, for which you will pay a little more but so what), but because they are truly into customer service. My only regret is that the delivery came in the middle of a work call and I could not tip the guy (remember when that used to...

This shop is a favorite of mine. You can’t go wrong with a local florist. I requested all pink flowers for a friend in the hospital. They called me to discuss the flowers and made sure they didn’t substitute without my approval. I highly recommend them. I used this shop recently again. The person is in the hospital. Unfortunately the hospital misinformed me that the patient could not have flowers in her room. I also ordered a bracelet add on. They said the flowers were beautiful because someone took a picture of them and showed her. They gave her the card and the bracelet though, and she was very happy. So impressed with the fact that I received a call from a young lady at Rekemeier's, in Summit, New Jersey, explaining to me that they may not be able to deliver as early in the day as I requested or they may need to make changes to the item that I ordered, and we ordered last minute, I might add. How kind to actually take the time to speak to me directly and not to leave an email or send a text! They wanted to be certain they would still be meeting our needs for the flowers we were sending. They delivered in plenty of time on the day we requested and sent us notification that the flowers we ordered were in fact delivered.
