I will start by stating that I have been writing reviews here for years, and I'd like to think that I'm fair, even with the most questionable businesses. With that being said, this is the first time that I give such a low review for a business as far back as I can remember. I had never been to this location before, primarily because I like my apples the way they're supposed to be, healthy. However, with my wife craving a caramel apple, we decided to try this place. Upon going in, masked for obvious reasons, I proceeded to begin waiting to order. There were two women working, a younger one and an older one. The younger one stated to me that they would serve me and my wife momentarily. I waited for about three minutes, as they appeared to be pretty busy. Upon turning back, the older woman, whom I assume is the owner, proceeds to tell me, in a pretty rude way, that I need to take my mask off. Granted, I had heard of this happening before, but had never actually encountered a business where no mask means no service. Her excuse? There were cameras and it was for safety reasons that I needed to take my mask off. Do I believe that lame excuse? not even remotely. It's the business' prerogative to have that requirement, just as it is my right to not give them my business. Needless to say, we left without buying anything. Maybe she's got a valid point about safety, but C'mon, in these times, it doesn't take a genius to see an anti-masker. Denial is a bliss, I guess. Would I recommend this business? From a product perspective, I can't say, because I did not buy anything, from a customer service perspective,...
Read moreI recently bought apples from a fundraiser done through this company. When I received my apples they had fluid leaking out of the bag. The stick also fell out and I realized all of my apples were rotten. Almost everyone who ordered from this fundraiser received rotten apples. I called the company and they would not answer or return my calls about my concern. I did not want my money back, just simply wanted my order re-made. One of the other customers went in with her apples and they re-made hers and told her they would not be remaking anyone else’s. She said once the items leave the store they are not responsible for any issues with the orders. I find this to be very sad and bad for business. The people putting on the fundraiser were able to get some of the apples replaced but not all of them. In fact, only 20 of the apples were replaced. The team said they would reimburse me however, I don’t think it’s fair to take the money back from the kids who worked so hard to sell these especially when it is not their fault. You could tell these were old apples that had been used. The owner even admitted that this order was too large for her to handle and she should have made the apples in batches. I am appalled that this business would put it on the kids who worked so hard to sell these. I can guarantee that I will never buy from this company again and I would discourage others from...
Read moreVery disappointed.. i placed an order thru a catalog shared by one of my coworkers daughter for fundraising for her school. We were told we would have the apples delivered by a certain date, a week later and still no apples. When we finally received our order, guess what? Huge disappointment.. it seemed that these apples were made by children and not by business people who take pride in their work. I had ordered 2 chamoy apples which were not entirely covered with the candy. My other coworker had ordered 2 chocolate covered peanut apples, all the chocolate on the apple had melted and had hardened at the bottom of the apple. Her husband threw them away. Very unprofessional! How can you call yourselves business people and turn in pathetic work like that to your clients? I'd rather pay a little more and continue buying my apples at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory... Thumbs down tp Mom's...
