Sweet Doggies — Local services in Sunnyvale

We used Sweet Doggies when my fiance and I went out of town for a weekend to give them a trial run and were very pleased with our experience. They run doggie boarding very differently than most typical boarding places. The dogs are never caged - they are each given their own little living quarters that is gated off in an area. They also get to all play together during the day which is nice. I thought that the staff was really nice and open with us.

The one complaint that I have is that I feel like their billing system is a little iffy. They have very strict pick up and drop off times, which makes sense from a business standpoint, but I thought in some cases the pricing was unfair.

Then again, they do have an amazing deal where you get free daycare for your dog to test them out in the beginning. Also, I really don't have a strong comparison point since this is my first dog since I've become a real person who pays real bills.. so I may just have gone into it with unrealistic expectations.

Overall, the service and experience that our dog had won us over. We plan on using Sweet Doggies for our boarding needs from this...

One of my friends sends her dogs here so I figured I would also try since my pup loves being social. The enrolling process was very thorough, I love that they provide you with 1 week of free daycare as a part of the enrollment process so my pup can get used to the place. First 2 days I had to walk with him, but by the third day, he was super comfortable and didn’t need me to go with him, this was nice to see.

For boarding, Na made the process so easy, explained everything, understood that I was nervous. I explained that my dog usually doesn’t eat in new environments, but Na offered to try giving him food a 2nd time if he doesn’t eat the first time - I found this so so thoughtful and caring. During the stay, they sent me email updates and pictures of how he was doing. I’m sure they’re super busy, but they were great with communication. I was able to be stress free and not worry about him while I was away.

Absolutely love the staff and facility at Sweet Doggies. My boyfriend and I have been looking various daycare and boarding facilities around the south bay. We weren't satisfied with any of the places we visited because the dogs always seemed so stressed.

We were really happy to find out about Sweet Doggies when we went to the Pet Expo. We really liked the cage free facility and decided to give the 1 week free daycare a try just to check it out.

Our boy Toby totally LOOOVVEEEES it at daycare! He is always excited to play go play with his friends! We also love how he comes home all exhausted...usually means he had a really exciting day. Also, Toby used to have an excessive barking problem at home. He now hardly barks at home these days because he's so tired from running around and playing at daycare.
