Both saibaba and hindu followers would enjoy this Sai sarbar very much. with Baba, a lovely Hindu temple. There is a ton of food served at this temple during all big holidays. I'm submitting this review to offer criticism to the temple's administration. Ashoke is the only person in charge of this shrine. There is nothing wrong with that (in my opinion). The person who founded this temple has an issue with attitude. He regards volunteers as his servants. I observed (and three or four other volunteers confirmed this) that these volunteers work there in constant anxiety and worry that they would be fired by the temple's sole owner. Volunteers are not respected by him. That is very sad. I hope he changes his attitude.
I also noticed this guy's behavior during Thursday's madynna, Dhoop arti times. After Arti is done, he takes his time to pray. It may take 5 to 8 minutes sometimes (yes. I timed it) while devotees were waiting in the queue for darshan. Sometimes, you will have pregnant women and elderly people waiting and waiting while this guy completes his prayers. He should change this immediately. He should treat devotees with respect and quickly open the queue soon after arti. He should also start smiling and not have a serious face. I avoid Thursdays because I don't want to see his face. I hope he reads this review and changes his attitude. The donation wall is another item. It takes months to get or hear from this person when people donate money for a wall of donors. Given that there is no board, I assume he is the only one responsible for these matters. My other friends lament that no matter how much money they donate, they will never receive receipts. I really hope that he is a devoted follower of Baba. I'll offer prayers for Baba to adjust his perspective. I rate Temple five stars while giving the management, ownership, and operations a...
Read moreI am deeply devoted to this temple. There is something about this place that works for me to connect for a few minutes with my spiritual side. However, I have become uneasy after some experiences that didn't bode well with my expectations from a temple.
I used to notice how "volunteers" rushed people to keep moving during the Aarti time. Since I like to have a few peaceful moments, I started avoiding the Aarti hours. The plan worked for me for as long as I can remember, except for this past week when I got late and had to deal with aggressive volunteerism - a situation I was trying to avoid.
Finding myself standing in the queue, I took a few deep breaths and moved swiftly by maintaining just a few inches from the person ahead of me. I did my best but could not meet the volunteer's expectations. They kept asking everyone to move forward as if they wanted us to jump on top of the person ahead of us.
The purpose of this post is to inform you - if you're looking for a peaceful, uninterrupted experience, you may want to stay clear of the line monitors because they seem to have a target to meet, so sooner or later, they will find a way to get to you. Visit the temple, but...
