Dollar Tree — Local services in Superior

I would have given 3 stars due to the store looking dirtier and more disorganized than I've ever seen it as well as looking as if they're going out of business but the girls that have worked there for years are so sweet I had to give 4. As a few other reviews mentioned, the shelves are empty in about 1/2 to 2/3 of the store. About a week or so ago I asked if the store was closing permanently and later I overheard another customer ask that same question. All of the workers are really nice, except for the lady who's much older than the rest of the cashiers and is always rude. Perhaps she resents still having to work while everyone else her age has long since retired to Florida, maybe she didn't accomplish her lifelong dream of working at Dollar General and has to settle for Dollar Tree? Whatever her issues, at least she's consistent. When we asked if the store was closing she responded to us both the same way ~ unnecessarily raising her voice, saying a rude "NO!" and turning her back on us. That was it. No explanation as to why there were no vitamins, not a single notebook when normally there's a plethora of them, about 4 or 5 phone cases only, no ibuprofen or acetaminophen (the usual $ store purchases). Went there to pay to have my sons birthday balloons filled up but they refused and said it was because they had a helium license which makes no sense. I was going to pay the normal price to have them filled because there were no elephant balloons. The girl was very rude then added they had no helium left after the fact.I went to Walmart and purchased a helium tank plus they were very nice there. This is the best Dollar Tree in the Twin Ports! It is conveniently located next door to Walmart, near Aldi's & Menards, which makes it great for one stop shopping, when you are on a limited budget. It is also near the bus stop. The place is cleaner & better stocked than the Duluth stores.
