If you are ASIAN DO NOT COME HERE. I can see from other reviews asians are being treated so much more differently than everyone else. We were legit nothing but kind to you guys saying have a good day and etc. Whereas you greet other people with complete cheer. We literally came on Tuesday and that day too you were so very kind to everyone else except for us and we could so blatantly feel it.

Let me explain what happened to my daughter and I. 2 incredibly rude individuals at the cash registers and they are unable to process in their minds that we were double charged and instead weigh the same vegetable that has the greatest mass twice leading to an overcharge.

Let me put it into perspective, it isn’t even the money I am upset about, it is straight up just 3.81. It is the DISRESPECT that I faced. The lack of an apology and you snatch the money from my hands when it is meant to be mine purely from a MISCALCULATION THAT YOU DID?

Me and my daughter were double charged for 2 squashes which totaled to a 3.81 and since we were double charged it came out to 2 x $3.81. But instead of just taking out one of the $3.81, the woman weighs one of the squashes and just multiplies it by two resulting in us getting charged extra?? The other male cashier literally weighed both of the squashes at the same time meaning that you just need to give us $3.81 in return but the woman for some reason whips out her phone… and just begins tapping away calculating. Proceeds to give us $3.81 and then SNATCHES $1.81 back FROM MY HANDS. This has to be a joke. Oh I really wish I had said something, I was just so confused on what she was doing?????? It is the most simple calculation ever… it is written on the receipt…? It wasn’t even the money that mattered it is THE DISRESPECT. There was NO APOLOGY, the other cashier is MURMURING UNDER HIS TONGUE RIGHT IN FRONT OF US talking about some, “You had two squashes that is why there is double”. I CAN UNDERSTAND YOU, JUST BECAUSE I AM ASIAN DOES NOT MEAN I CAN’T SPEAK ENGLISH. Since you think that you are so smart, USE YOUR BRAIN. 1 SQUASH DOES NOT WEIGH NEARLY 4 POUNDS WHEN 3 ZUCCHINIS ARE LESS THAN 2 POUNDS. Why are you murmuring under your breath IN FRONT OF A CUSTOMER?? and then he proceeds to send us to another cashier. You are so lucky that I cannot speak english well, these people were just looking down on me and my daughter, kindly saying goodbye to everyone else but you can’t even MURMUR a SORRY for your mistake, and you CAN’T EVEN FIX YOUR MISTAKE and yet still NO APOLOGY? All you had to do was say sorry and it really wouldn’t be a big deal, but the fact that you don’t say sorry and just act like a SNOB, SNATCHING the 1.81 from my hands is just unworldly. The rudest workers are at the cash register do NOT come here. What a scam....

Amazing place. No need for stressing about shopping carts, items are affordable and fresh. No need for Walmart stress, concise, and healthy food options available. Better than Walmart ithink, you should try. Although some of the things to think about, you might need a credit card that works and need to know how to bag your own items. Otherwise you might be holding up the line when the cashier are so fast scanning your items, so that they might scan your items twice without you knowing it. might get scammed into buying extra 5 dollars that you might not be aware of. and you would go, wait a ... ...... second. when and why did I buy this? oh my money gone. wait.... iforgot.

ithink the price of wine was really affordable though. Unlike the Rubio the news boy claims and tries to resell the bottle for 66 dollars.

Essentially scamming wine to "American" woman that they claim to "protect" by scamming them affordable wine, in this case from Aldi's, to people.

I had the poorest experience with David and his female co-worker. When she decided to so rudely ignore me whenever I previously attempted to get her attention for assistance with getting a quarter for one of the carts, I finally spoke aloud to see if she couldn’t hear me, to which she retort with a hostile tone and loudly talked me down and began to use two different excuses for not assisting me until she realized other customers were looking at her and she gave me a quarter finally. Upon checkout though, she singled me out in front of the other customers and made me, the only customer at that time (my checkout was 10/25/2023 at 15:45) check out alone in a completely different lane. She purposefully had another lane open, because she did not like how, when I refused to be treated poorly as a customer, she thought she could take the high ground and look like a moral champion defending employees in the public, when it was evident that there was a clear bias toward me. I cannot believe this is who Aldi hires and watch; there will be people who defend that woman, and her co-workers, poor and horrendous behavior when they should NOT be allowed to get away with this blatant discrimination.
