The Human Bean — Restaurant in Suwanee

I really really liked this coffee shop, I always went before my shift and sometimes after depending on my mood. But, as of recently I went here and I noticed the staff had completely changed. New faces, and a lot of people I didn’t recognize… at first I had assumed they just hired new people but the people I used to see every time I came, no longer worked here? Everyone that worked here just suddenly stopped working here.. It caught me off guard, although the new staff is nice and they have pretty decent customer service .. I had recently went by and this guy greeted me, I greeted him back and he seemed very charismatic.. but as he showed me the tip option on their device he started flexing his muscles and telling me to “support the gains”. It made me very very uncomfortable considering no one on the staff seemed to have an issue with it..? I don’t know who the manager is, but I don’t think it’s professional to be greeted with someone flexing their muscles and telling anyone to tip … you might as well work at a gym.

All in all it made my experience feel very uncomfortable. When I received my drink, and as I drove off (a snowy) it barely even tasted like coffee.. mostly milk… and normally it tastes great so I don’t know what to make of all this.

Overall, I just feel entirely upset with the changes made and the audacity of the people working here? No one of the old staff is working here anymore from what it looks like , and it just seems like no one knows what they’re doing. I really hope things change, it makes me upset to see my favorite coffee...

This used to be my go-to coffee spot everyday however recently the management has changed which has made me devastated. A close friend of mine knows someone who works at this location and it had been brought to my attention that they are firing all the original staff for no reason as then they are bringing in new staff which is primarily all boys who have zero idea on how to do their job. As well as I’ve stopped by recently and have seen which is apparently the new manager who is this young girl who had no clue how to make a simple iced latte with oat milk. To which then my order took just about 15 minutes for ONE DRINK. She seems to not know how to manage all these new employees. If new management is coming in to “replace” the old staff at least know how to get an order out in time and right. I loved stopping by and seeing the old staff who always made sure I left with a smile on my face. It’s unfortunate to have such a devastating new change to this store. Definitely not...

I love this Human Bean. It's very convenient for me as it's on the correct side of the road during my morning commute down McGinnis Ferry and the service is FAST. There's no waiting in line, and if there are cars in the drive through they keep them moving quickly. The coffee is fantastic and the food is amazing. It's far superior to other larger chains that I don't need to mention by name, but we all know who they are - and the quality you get for a better price, in my opinion, makes going here a no brainer.

Additionally - I wanna give a shout out to the staff. They're all incredibly friendly. I'm typically starting my day here, and they always make it a very pleasant experience! We all need some positive interaction in the morning to get our days started on the right foot, and this Human Bean delivers on that!
