Single handedly the WORST experience in all of my retail shopping and experience this week. Store opens at 8, after spending a half hour shopping for new clothes I get back to the fitting room and see signs they won’t open them till 10. How hard is it to put a sign at the front of the store so I know not to waste my time!?! An employee walks by and without prompt - tells me and another customer she will grab someone with a key to come open two stalls for us. Two employees then appear and rudely tell me and the other customer that they aren’t opening them until 10 (that’s fair, and that’s not my gripe) I ask to put my cart on hold since I had an appointment at 10. Their response was - we don’t do that - you can walk around the store till 10 or push your cart to side and maybe we won’t put it back by the time you come back. So I was then forced to try what I could on over my clothes in the aisles, got annoyed and left without any clothes during their 25% off special. Absolutely appalling behavior and responses from the staff - sorry I do not have and hour and half to spend walking around the store waiting for fitting rooms to open. I thought putting my items on hold to come back after my appointment was a simple enough request, but I guess not. Any other retailer would allow at least that. The solutions here were so simple and they missed the mark - (1) put a sign at the front of the store about the fitting rooms and (2) let customers put their entire cart full of clothes to try on hold to come back 2 hours later to try on. Instead of sucking your teeth and rolling your eyes at customers in...
Read moreTarget is a great place to shop. Target offers a variety of products sold at decent prices with added discounts. The store’s customer-centric benefits with Target Circle and Red Card provides savings or more money in your pocket and added security and protection for your debit card. I love the availability, convenience and ease of Order Pickup especially if I only need a thing or two for a small price without having to pay for shipping fees, unless otherwise product availability is is for shipping only. Their hours of operation is great appreciated due to my work schedule making order pickups and your shopping experience such a breeze without any worries with the store closing on me! Thanks, Target! More power to your business!
Though I must add that for others that posted poor reviews about the store for having products scattered all over the place, it is generally isn’t the store’s fault. This is a retail business, not a hotel with constant housekeeping, and cannot always babysit people who do not care to properly put items back to where they belong or should be. It’s a big store with a variety of inventory, lack of staff or too many tasks at hand could delay products getting into their racks or shelves. Maintained and organized store display is important, but we must also expect customers to have the decency to not mess the place up. Be respectful and put things back the way they were. I treat any businesses the same way I treat my...
Read moreI usually go to Target to just pick up a few things. But this time I really needed to go there for the electronics department tech help. I had a fantastic customer service representative named Chad. After I told him what happened to my cell phone he walked me through all of the pros and cons of how to rectify the problem. Chad was open, honest, knowledgeable and above all did not address me as an older woman who didn’t have tech savvy. We talked over my options. I am over the moon happy with the resolution. I’m over the moon happy I had Chad as my tech guy! Target, you are quite lucky to have him as an employee. I will always go back and do business with him. Ask for Chad in electronics. You will not be disappointed. ( Hey Chad, Taking the new film off is the best part....
