I asked if the mocha frappucino was vegan & was told it wasn't. The man then told me anything with chocolate was not vegan. (?) I've been getting iced soy mochas for years & was pretty sure they were vegan. I then asked him if he checked the label & he said yes. He lied to me!! I got in my car and decided to double check. Sure enough, iced soy lattes are vegan, and so are the frappucinos as long as you sub the milk and don't get whipped cream, which is how I would order it. So here I am stuck with my iced soy latte, feeling duped by someone who felt he had to lie to me to get out of checking the label. I will be avoiding Starbucks for a while and spend my coffee $ somewhere honest so I can get what I truly want. I did go back in to let him know they WERE vegan, he replied, "Oh." It took them almost 5 min to finish their conversation and they were rude when taking my order. The girl who rang me up walked away before my transaction was complete and their machine was having touble reading my chip card and after multiple tries the girl very rudely told me to try wiping my chip off and then to try swiping it. The girl working there took 20 minutes to get the order and took four customers afterwards and then got the wrap in the microwave.
