Truly 0 star customer service. People are clueless, and can't pick orders properly, follow orders properly,refund items properly. After standing around for over 10 minutes and 2 cashiers I was told my order was cancelled since I drove 40 minutes to pick it up per their email saying it was ready. Leave get 2 emails 1 saying 1 of my 4 items was cancelled, 2nd saying the other 3 items were ready. Call the next day after no further updates and no refund. Again had to speak with 2 separate people to get no where. I was given the we're short staffed bit....but if you're not teaching your cashiers the basic things they are supposed to know like refunds(especially considering said cashier claimed to be customer service)apparently when you use PayPal you're supposed to get a gift card or some other refund not direct to the bank so this woman let me walk out without doing a word(I wonder if she knew this and kept the gift card for herself considering this next part). Talking to the next woman who said she could do the refund over the phone only to have her try to refund me the money for a different purchase I made for $10 less. I ended up hanging up because these people clearly don't have a clue anymore and can't keep up with the times or something. I say beware especially if you're ordering online. I'm awaiting a back surgery and have nerve issues which is why I chose this method of shopping....I was actually asked by the cashier in store if I would like to go around and pick my own order up instead of having the staff do it. Read moreI want to start off by saying I am a JCP fan! However, this location has gone downhill and has been run down for some time now. The dressing rooms are disgusting!!! I can’t imagine it’s ever seen a vacuum. The staff were friendly and helpful as always. Management should be demoted for allowing the rooms to look like this REGULARLY. That falls under their scope to inspect as well as the owners. This has been a complaint of mine for some time now but I’m finally voicing it because I usually have just turned around and avoided them. I didn’t have that luxury this visit. Read moreTonight I would give J C Penney a one star. I was paying with my JC Penny card knowing you get a additional 20% off when you used your JCP credit card. I had to ask her if she took the additional discount off. She said no. Then she tried to scanned the coupon for the additional discount. She couldn't get it to scanned. She was shaking the scanner telling me it wouldn't work. I said ok well do you want me to go get in a different line after all 20% will save me money. At that point she got the coupon to scanned. She took all of my clothes hangers and all and threw them in a bag. Never said thank you. So I said thank you to her and she said yep.
