On Monday, June 13th we were driving through Ohio to get home to Michigan when we pulled off the freeway to take shelter from a severe storm that was coming through the area. It was my husband, myself, my 2 young kids and our service dog. When we came inside to take shelter we brought our service dog inside with us, as we weren't about to leave her outside to brave the storm in our vehicle. Upon entering the store everyone was very friendly. Once we got past the entry way we were met by the manager, who ask us if our dog was a service dog, we replied yes. She asked if she had a vest to wear, and we had left it in the car, so she wasn't wearing it. The manager didn't seem too happy about us having her inside, but said to just keep her out of the cart. So we said ok, and went on with our shopping while we waited out the storm. As we were shopping we passed a worker who, once we past by her and were several feet away started saying things to us, but were muffled because she was wearing a mask. I looked back at her and told my husband that she was making me uncomfortable and we went around the corner to another area of the store. Next thing we know she was in the same section of the store as us (appeared to have followed us) and started harassing my husband about our dog. Saying "What?, I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE STORE DAY!!!" he was confused as to why she would seek us out and harass us when we had already spoken to the manager. As she walked away my husband said to her, the manager said we could have her in here, and she replied "Oh yeah? Well the manager is an A$$HOLE AND SO ARE YOU!" I was shocked that an employee would say something like that to a customer! I even mentioned the incident to one of the friendly greeters at the entrance. So we then cashed out, and sat in the breeze way to wait out the remainder of the storm. While in the breezeway there was another lady, who was handicap and in a motorized cart. She had come to shop prior to the storm coming and had parked at the opposite end of the store. The manager refused to open the other doors for her to get to her car in the rain, so my husband volunteered to pull her car up for her, and help her. She was very grateful of course, but we were all disappointed in the way the manager and the other employee treated not only us, but the handicap lady...
Read moreFurious and not getting help so hoping to speak to someone. Have used this meijer and meijer pharmacy for years and today came across a disappointing show of service. Picked up a prescription today. Used Mastercard to pay for it in person with physical card (not via app). Last month when picking up, my Amex had been charged so I made sure to confirm with the tech that the correct Mastercard was being charged today. It was confirmed. Got home and received an alert that my Amex was indeed WRONGLY charged AGAIN. I did not even have that card on my person while at the store. Called the pharmacy and ended up going into the store an hour ago and neither the pharmacy nor customer service can see ANY linked cards on my account - they have no record of the AMEX that keeps getting charged. Obviously my card number IS being saved somewhere in the system and it's very concerning that they can't see it or get rid of it. They reversed the charge to put it on the appropriate one but cannot do anything about it continuing to happen. Was given an 888 number to call. No help, unable to see anything. Transferred to another general number which was even less help. Valerie from pharmacy was sympathetic and took time to walk to customer service and try to help which was greatly appreciated. However the issue remains that I physically paid with a card in person into the card reader and a DIFFERENT card was charged which in my mind is an incredibly concerning security issue. Have not had any issues at other retailers or even at the normal meijer registers...just for prescription pickup at the pharmacy. I will be transferring meds out and not using this location if someone cannot fix this. Would love to be contacted by someone and will update if I am. Even looked into deactivating mperks account completely to try and stop this (which the mperks rep didn't think would work) but in doing so was told I'd lose all points/rewards accumulated and no way to be reimbursed or anything for those.
TLDR: meijer pharmacy is charging cards other than the ones given to them when checking out. Given run around and issue still not fixed.
Posting to pharmacy and regular meijer reviews to find someone who can fix this meijer...
Read moreVery upset with the incident that happened at this store yesterday after noon and not happy at all to be publicly humilitied and called a liar in front of a ton of people at this store by your door greeter!!! My son who is an autistic 11year old was getting ready to go out the door to our car with his step dad all excited about his lemonade and the teas that his stepfather just purchased for us. When one of your workers yelled that "he couldn't take that out the store and she wasn't allowing him out the doors". I chimed in and confronted her and said they are paid for repeatedly and she is telling me again and again that he can't take the drinks out the door. My son then rushed over to me with the drinks and receipt which he was dancing with in his hand and I hand it the woman who is using your guys phone for her personal phone calls and had been since we walked into your guys store an hour prior to this incident and was still on it and looking at the receipt and she looks at it for two seconds and says very loudly in the snottiest way possible "IT SAYS 1 TEA 1 LEMONADE" I THEN RESPONDED WITH THE SAME ENERGY "MISS YOU BETTER READ THAT AGAIN BECAUSE I RECEIVED THE TEXT ON HOW MUCH WAS SPENT AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT MY HUSBAND DIDN'T SPEND OVER 6 DOLLARS FOR ONLY 2 DRINKS!" SHE THEN LOOKED AGAIN AND SAYS" IT SAYS ONE LEMONADE AND 3 TEAS" WITH THAT I SAID EXACTLY AND WALKED A WAY. YOU'RE WORKER DIDN'T APOLOGIZE AND CONTINUED TO PLAY ON. THE PHONE FOR A SECOND MORE UNTIL SHE HEARD ME SAY TO MY HUSBAND IF SHE GET OFF THE PHONE AND STOP PLAYING AT WORK SHE COULD ACTUALLY DO HER JOB RIGHT!! I was doing a work order for my business and my babies and us where to thirsty and hot what was supposed to be a pleasant thing to cool off with shouldn't had to turn into public humiliation infornt of hundreds of people yesterday afternoon. Also you guys need to tighten up or fire that woman there is no reason she should be jumping on the phone repeatedly for personal calls at work or making false accusations and making it so people don't want to come back...
