Definitely recommend against carry out. My scheduled order wasn’t ready when I arrived, and when the “hostess” finally emerged from the back to let me know that, she informed me that she’d call out my name when it was completed: in a TOTALLY EMPTY RESTAURANT. I waited for ten minutes watching the Roku home screen, and was finally told that my order was ready. When I approached the counter to pay, I was informed that I ordered my rice incorrectly from THEIR website, but they did me a favor and accommodated me “this time.”

The food is good for what it is - but if you’re looking to feel welcomed when you want sushi, you’re better off going to McDonald’s, getting a fish sandwich, and letting it get cold. Some of the same menu items you'll find at the Sakura restaurant up on Monroe St, but it is slimmed down a bit. Think of it more as a fast-food style place, but better food. For example, everything comes in disposable take away containers, there's a cooler of bottled beverages (I can't recall now if there was a drink fountain). There are some tables and chairs to sit and eat in, but it looks like it was clearly made for pickup and online orders. I went at lunch time and got the seared tuna salad, I had gotten this from the previous owner and a few times since the new owners took over. I was extremely disappointed, the nice bed of mix greens was replaced by iceberg lettuce that was torn in very large pieces. the lettuce was wet and left a puddle in the container. They need to use a salad spinner. A couple nickle size pieces of cucumber with 4 or 5 pieces of shredded carrots completed this sad salad.
