K&G Fashion Superstore — Local services in Tacoma

I will start this review off with something positive. They had a wide selection of nice dressy clothes.

I hardly go shopping as I hate trying on clothes. So, I settled on a suit for my dad funeral. I got home and tried the suit on and felt like I was swimming in it as it was a size to big. The shoes I bought were to tight on the top part of my foot. So the very next day I went back into the store and returned both my shoes and shirt. I purchased a different dress and no shoes. By the end of the transaction I actually had a $69 credit which I was told would go back into my account. I gave them time as I know it can take time for the refund. Blah blah blah. I never received it. I tried to reach out with no luck. I called my bank and filed a dispute. My back gave me a provisional credit until the investigation was over. I am not sure if my bank was able to resolve this with K&G but in the end my back approved my credit. This was my first time shopping with this store and honestly I would have continued to go back because of the selection and prices they have but after the issue with the refund and the customer service being so bad I just don’t trust this store at all. Be very careful and keep your receipts and stay on top of any returns you have. You might even be better off just accepting a store credit than having a refund made back to...

If you have a suit, take it and have it altered my fiances' look great but, if you have a wedding dress DO NOT TAKE IT!! Just get it altered where you got the dress, they do it all the time so they know what they are doing!! These guys don't! Yeah, you might save a little bit of money but they don't clean it, and every time you get one thing fixed something else is wrong, it is incredibly stressful. I finally took it home because I was done dealing with them and the straps on the dress are crooked, the sash is sewed on wavy, and the hem is all over the place. By that I mean she cut it shorter than I wanted it, the very inside layer is longer than the rest, its not even and the tulle in the very front is shorter than the rest. This is a wedding dress so it is kind of a big deal! I paid good money for this dress and all the employees could say was "Nobody will notice." or "At least you can hide the straps with your hair." Who said I even wanted my hair down?!? And who cares if nobody notices... I will know and it shouldn't matter, it should have been done correctly. Even the woman who did the alterations said "To many layers, it was so hard." In my opinion, if she saw the dress & thought it was to much of a challenge.... she should not have done it!!!! Very displeased and a little heartbroken because I am no longer in love...
