I went to the Tacoma, Washington location today. Spent a couple hundred bucks there. As I'm checking out with my cart full of stuff and the cashier scans my card. He immediately asks me if I'm there too. Like my card isn't mine. I said that's my card and he's like oh. It progressively gets worse. I'm there with my wife and she pulls out her bank card first. Both our cards are connected to the same account. And I'm still in shock he accused me of not being me. He asks her if she has a card and I'm like she's my wife and he said you can take her to costumer service and get her on my account if I'm the main card. And I'm like I am and my brother has the second card. Why would I give her my other card if we come here together. So basically, I'm not sure I want to buy anything because of the cashiers attitude with me. But I end up purchasing the items on my bank card. I don't know if he targeted me because my skin color, or that I'm gay. It seems so because the people right before me used one card and he allowed both to pay. The wife counting out exact change. The lines were more busy than usual and not once did he or any other cashier in hearing distance ask about anyone else's card or question payment. I feel like the cashier needs sensitivity training, costumer service training, and anti discrimination training. His name is Steven R and his OP# 823. Whatever that is. It makes me not comfortable coming back into that location at the very least. I never had a problem at Costco before. Spending 1000s yearly there. I understand if he was following policy but he came at it the wrong way and shouldn't single out certain people. It doesn't look right and it doesn't feel good.

if you want to spoil your good mood, then visit the costo store in this one!!! this rude person will ruin it for you!!! and this person works at the checkout! he does not know how to work with customers, he spoils the image of costo! he showed complete disrespect and showed aggression to us !!!but he receives a salary from our purchases !!!bad service!aggression!!bad manners!!rudeness!!spoiled mood!!!this is what you get by visiting this store and this cashier!!!and the reason all this is that I showed my card, and my husband wanted to pay for the purchase!!! and we both have these cards! complete absurdity! result: rudeness! staff incompetence! it was necessary to distract 3 managers from work so that they would be excused for one boor! but is it worth visiting this booth in the future?!!!

This location is pretty similar to other branches, but a few things stand out. Traffic near 37th & Steele is usually a mess, and while the parking lot is large, it often feels chaotic and fills up quickly — especially near the 37th St side, where the layout could use some work. The gas station is always busy, too. Inside, the staff (especially those working the floor) are consistently friendly and helpful — though the register experience can vary. The frozen and refrigerated aisles can get cramped, especially when it's crowded with carts. The food court is always bustling — and for good reason. You really can’t beat those prices! The staff there work hard and keep things moving quickly. Overall, it’s a convenient stop, especially if you’re out running errands or hopping off I-5.

Some cashiers are complete and total asshats. The majority of their "helpers," who box up the purchased items, either have no freaking clue about how to do it OR can't be bothered to try. I've had bags of chips crushed, bread smashed, heat and serve meals from the deli packed on side and spilled everywhere, plastic boxed pastries and cookies from the bakery that had milk jugs set on top causing everything to get smashed to bits, cases of beer stacked on top of fresh produce causing it to be ruined (peppers, bananas, pears/peaches), improper handling of cases of soda/water causing the plastic to over stretch (cans of soda dropped on my feet when trying to put the case in my vehicle). The WORST PART? THEY REFUSE TO LET ME BRING MY STUFF UP, PRE-BOXED, TO AVOID THIS FROM HAPPENING! I EVEN MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS SINGLE STACKED WITH BARCODES EASILY SCANNED. THE CASHIERS REFUSED TO SCAN MY ORDER UNTIL EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN OUT AND THE BOXER PEOPLE REFUSED TO PACK IT BACK LIKE I HAD IT TO BEGIN WITH! You would think that a customer basically doing their job for them and making things faster and easier would be a good thing. BUT NO... even managers backed them on this and refused to replace the items that got damaged.

Don't get me wrong. There are a couple individuals that do excellent work and are absolutely amazing (We love you guys!)

Brandan, cashier, worked there for a long time, W/M, Tall, a little heavy, always wears polo style shirts blue or orange, with dark hair and glasses. He is beyond amazing! I've left the store and refused to continue shop several times because I couldn't find him at a register.

Another amazing person is usually a greeter or checking receipts at the exit, w/m, dark hair, super cute, wheelchair, that goes above and beyond every time we see him. He knows exactly who to go to in order to get anything done. I've come in after having a really bad day and he took the time to not only notice I was upset but he genuinely cared when he asked what was going on. He cared so much that he actively listened, asked intelligent questions that caused me to see the world differently, and asked if I wanted advice before giving it to me. He is an amazing human.

There is also a Male POC that is a pharmacy technician who always goes above and beyond to make sure my scripts are filled correctly and on time. He's even helped me with various savings cards and other drug company promotions so I could afford my medications, even during the covid lockdown. I wouldn't be alive to write this today if he hadn't helped me find a way to afford all my medications during that time of unrest and uncertainty.

These 3 men continuously give me hope for the human race. Especially during a time when toxic masculinity has become the norm, not the exception, and every outing during the pandemic was one sneeze away from catching a...

I called 1/16 earlier in the day and was told to come in before 6:30 so I could get a vaccine. I got there around 5:30 and was told there was no way they could get me in and I'd have to make an appointment online. I asked them if they could just make it there since I was already there and was told no by Vyktoria. Go online and they don't have the right vaccine appointment so I just made one for a random vaccine to hold my time. Get a phone call from a Melissa saying she has to make the appointment for me. So they could have done it there, they just chose not to. Got the appointment figured out, no mention of a cost. Go in today for my appointment time and the person asks me in a very rude way, "Are you aware of the cost?" No, I'm not, no one has said anything to me at this point so I give her my insurance card and the vaccine isn't covered and she says, "Well it's 400." So I can't do that, that's a lot. But the way she was so dismissive and the fact that I wasted two trips in is so frustrating to me. Not one person in the 3 times I talked to before this appointment said anything about it until I wasted another trip there. I also wasn't rude in any way, last night I was very polite even though they'd already wasted my time, and I'm just not rude in general because I was in customer service and a pharmacy for 5 years. But if they are going to be rude to customers what's the point in being face to face with people? Sorry I don't have 400 for a vaccine, but they don't have to be rude about it. I am disabled and have a child and figuring all of this out is so frustrating. I had already called 6 different places yesterday for this and Costco is the only one that had the vaccine I needed so to be treated like that I'm just super disappointed. We were about to renew our Costco membership as well and I think at this point the customer service has turned me off for good. I feel bad even writing this review but if you need to go to them for any vaccines make sure you double check if there's a cost, and do not trust them when they tell you to just come in before a...

WOW! Hated giving even a 1 star! My family and I spend a lot of money at this store for many many years, every shopping trip is hundreds of dollars. I'm not sure what is happening, but customer service is not what it use to be. I told the cashier(Cate W.) I needed a box for my fish and meat. First, she tells me, with a tone to her voice, she doesn't have any boxes. Really? So, was I supposed to put the meat in my car like that? Then, she says, oh, i have a box. Her and the boxer employee (Robert) are throwing my items around in my cart which i didn't like. So, after she scanned them, i restacked them in my cart. Robert let's out a huge sigh & a disgusted look on his face as he looks into the cart and re-organizes my work, again throwing my items around. I politely said I was sorry that I reorganized his work. He said nothing and cont to throw my items around. My son was with me and told him he didn't have to have an attitude that I was only trying to help and you guys keep throwing our items around. Robert said, "whatever!" My son said, "excuse me?" Robert said, "I'm not having an attitude!" My son asked for a supervisor. Robert and Cate just stood there. My son asked again for a supervisor. Cate called for a supervisor. A guy comes over, my son tells him what happened and that we spend a lot of money here. The guy said he would handle it and then tells my son to not curse at "his employee."(my son said one curse word). My son reminded him he did not curse at "Robert." That he cursed at the situation. Then, the supervisor changed it up and said my son cursed at him(the supervisor). Again, no, at the situation. Between the 3 employees, I felt my complaint wasn't truly heard nor did any...
