Terrible Easter experience! I called the Friday before Easter to reserve a ham and sliced turkey for pick-up the next day. Told the girl what I wanted and she was ready to hang up with me without taking my name or phone number to secure the reservation. When I asked if she wanted my name she said, "Oh! Your reservation number is 11-5". I go to pick up my order the next day before they close at 5 p.m. and state that I have a reservation for a ham and turkey slices. The woman tells me, "We're all out of turkey. We sold out." I explain that I made a reservation the night before and she says that whoever took the reservation should have told me that unclaimed reservations that have not been claimed by 3 p.m. get "released". No one told me that otherwise I would have been there sooner. This is infuriating and unprofessional. My first hint of this lack of communication should have been that the person taking my so-called but non-existent "reservation" had to be prompted to take my name/phone number/info. This lack of transparency lacks customer service. I will never grace your franchise again and will go out of my way to the Puyallup for my future...
Read moreWow! What a great place! We were visiting Guitar Center (another place to experience great customer service) next door and saw this place and decided to give it a try. Sooo glad we did! Not only was it some of the best sandwiches we've had in a long time, the staff was incredible! After we placed our order and sat down, the manager, I believe her name was Dani, brought out samples of the the different Ham and turkey they serve and samples of two their two different soups! She had heard us telling the other staff member, who found out later was the owner, that it was our first time so she wanted to make sure we tried all the"goods". This place has sandwiches, catering, whole hams, turkey and a fabulous list of different sides, and a whole bunch of other things. However today I called them to see how late they are open and was told to be there before 3pm or my ham would be sold to another person. The person who took my reservation should have informed me about the time issue, One would think, since they are open till 6pm that you could pick up your ham until closing time. NOPE not the case. So now no ham for me because the neglected to tell me about the time limit. I will never shop at this business again and neither will any of my friends and relatives. I might put a call out to social media today telling people about their absurd policy of taking a reservation and then putting a time limit on it, even though they are open till 6pm.
