Windermere Abode — Local services in Tacoma

I had an apartment near this office when I moved to Tacoma, and stopped in because I was selling my home through a Windermere in another city. I arranged for them to set me up with an agent to show me two properties I was interested in and I got Spencer.

Spencer showed up at least ten minutes late to the first property, which wasn't great because I was waiting outside in the rain. Not a great first impression. We exchanged contacted information, and then exchanged a few text messages back and forth. I didn't really feel anything, and felt that as a motivated buyer I could find someone better for 3% of my half mil+ I was spending.

After a couple weeks of me not contacting him, Spencer signed me up for a referral/loyalty thing connected to him without my request or consent. I did not appreciate this and feel it was a violation of the contact information that I had entrusted to him. Read the room. If I'm not responding to your texts, I definitely don't want to be part of your referral program.

Overall, it was a bad experience for me, interacting with this Windermere group

Edit: Just saw that the owners responded about the spam service they signed me up for without my consent was "popular" as a justification for doing so. If I could take away the one star I've given them, I would absolutely settle with them...

Jessica Knicely far exceeded our expectations. Our first home purchase didn't feel right. It did not feel like we had an expert on our team. That was with a different agency, different agent. Jessica brought energy, and a lot of strategy.

We trusted her with all of the negotiations, the pricing, the staging options, and ended up being able to go from living in a less than ideal home for our family (with PMI) to an amazing home without PMI. We even pulled off a contingent upon sale scenario. Went from listing to pending in 5 days. All of our experience were excellent. Reid did a lot of great work for the team as well. They are on point with their social media - the video they made for our house was top notch.
