I have been meaning to stop by here because I remember Emily hanging out with my little sister when they were younger and I wanted to support her business. I was telling my mom how I miss quality made coffee. I worked for Tullys for many years and can really appreciate a good shot of espresso and know what that tastes like. I believe an americano shows the quality of coffee very well because you can taste if it’s a full bodied shot of espresso that hasn’t oxidized and you can taste when it’s sat too long. I ordered a short americano with a splash of heavy cream and half pump of vanilla for just a tiny bit of sweet and it did not disappoint! The espresso was delicious and I’m thrilled to know of a quality coffee shop again in Tacoma.😁 The customer service was great, she even let me water the jade when I asked 😂, and the decor and atmosphere was beautiful! I highly recommend...

Curran Coffee is the best coffee shop in Tacoma. I have tried them all, and it's amazing how wonderful they all are, and then you go here and it somehow takes everything amazing about those others, Tacoma itself, and blends it into the best place to get a coffee and a smile in Tacoma. The people who work there are kind beyond explanation, always present with a smile and warmth in their eyes. The atmosphere is one of a tight community of North End Tacoma that feels like no matter where you sit, you will see someone you know and love. And finally, the coffee (the beans provided by Valhalla) is second to none. I genuinely believe they make the best drinks in town and hope that everyone comes here, says hi to the two remarkable sisters who own and operate it, and thanks them for providing such a safe and welcoming haven to the people of this...

4.5 stars, cozy little cafe with big flavor. The coffee had a great taste and the service was mostly awesome, with everyone acting in a very friendly manner. I got a little crowded at times, but if anything that is more of a testament to the popularity of this cafe.

Of note, shortly after I ordered a second drink a large rush came through, obscuring the counter for much of the time. And even though I thought I kept an eye out for my drink, maybe 15 or 20 minutes later, after the rush subsided, I asked about it and apparently I had missed it and they had already poured it out. I felt really bad that they wasted a drink when I was sitting right there, but they hastily remade it for me with a smile on their face. Will...

Food/Drink quality for price: great! Atmosphere: chill, clean, keepin' it real Noise level: not loud at all, noise is dispersed Lighting: mostly natural light! It's so nice inside. Staff: friendly and helpful with questions Cleanliness: oh yeeeeah Indoor Seating: several tables inside and a couch Outdoor Seating: none today, I could see tiny tables working just outside the door WiFi: yes! Car parking: free in the street Syrups: Monin and some Torrani Alt. Milks: Pacific brand - coconut, soy, oat, almond (no macadamia) Bike parking: use poles instead of French toast bike rack on sidewalk, also check out the Trek store 'round the corner Pedestrian accessibility:

Great location with a beautiful vibe. You can easily walk from the seafront straight to the cafĂ©, and the views along the way make it worth the visit. The atmosphere feels inviting and relaxed, and the service is friendly and attentive. The coffee itself leans a little on the bitter side, so keep that in mind if you prefer a smoother roast. The pastry selection looks fantastic—especially the croissants, which are clearly made with care. Even though I didn’t get to try them this time(on a diet) they’re definitely on my list for the next visit. Overall, a spot with great energy, a scenic setting, and a menu that makes you want to come back.
