I walked in. And 2 black workers were chatting away. Was trying to find seeds. Both seemed to ignore me at first. Then I was pointed in a direction. Black man walked another black customer to their needs. I was wandering. On checkout. The black lady was short and rude. Bad vibe. Won't come back again. This is my neighborhood ace. Sad Asian racism.
i actually came by and cashier was polite but older white man acted like hed didnt want to help me. he was just rude. he helped me find a socket but when i asked for a turkey fryer he pointed in a direction towards pots. didn't see any turkey fryer. and they had one. over priced. finally got him to point it out under some junk. If this company had a clue they would stock up before turkey day duh!? Older people complain about younger people not working, but what about this?
manager owner obviously doesnt care. or they would value customer feedback like mine. They are lazy workers. A few years ago, this place was the best in everybody would always help. downhill and odd. no manners and no respect for my dollar!
came in again and needed something. didnt find it. NO HELP !!! same older white man would not help me. as a matter of fact was rude because i couldnt hear him. he repeated something i couldnt understand ⌠some old saying about not knowing something, cause he doesnt know much. he then proceeded to tell me i already told you. i informed im hearing impaired. they need to watch out. discrimination and potential ADA violations. its costs this man ZEROnaDA! to me polite! realized autozone has everything i need!
i dont want to generalize. i dont know if there are two people that...
Read moreIve stopped shopping at the big box home improvement stores primarily due to the lack of customer service. I have shopped several times at the Bannerman Ace Hardware and their selection and customer service is outstanding. Extrenly friendly and helpful staff. I stopped in the Ace Hardware on North Monroe today and I was kinda shocked at the customer service. The kid behind the counter (as a matter of fact he was leaning on the counter playing on his phone) and said something to be that I could not understand or hear. Didnt look up from his phone at all. The gentleman who helped me find the items I was looking for was great, very helpful. The kid from earlier checked me out and you can tell he didnt like his job, no greeting or no thank you at the end of the transaction. ( I wonder if he used to work at HD) North Monroe Ace could take some pointers from Bannerman...
Read moreSadly I am compelled to leave a poor review. The employees are generally helpful, however I just had a disappointing experience with who I think may have been the owner. I purchased a couple small items at the Ace across town (less than 24 hours earlier) and tried to return them at this location, only to be told that I wouldnât receive the full price I paid for the return, even with a receipt. I realize the store policy, as each is independently owned, yet the Policy is not customer friendly. In addition, the manager/owner was condescending, spoke in an angry tone, and mansplained to me. I regularly support local businesses but will take my dollars elsewhere from now on. My primary issue isnât with the policy itself but the poor treatment, and that the manager was willing to lose a formerly loyal customer over a...
