This is by far the worst experience Iāve ever received from Pizza Hut. I have used Pizza Hut for 15 years from all over and have never had any bad experiences. We moved here 5 months ago and we have only used Pizza Hut once before from this location. So figured we would order tonight. It started with the website itself. It told me that they were having problems adding their boxes to the order to delete the box and re-add the box. So I did. I used my redemption points for garlic Parmesan wings of which seemed like they were just chicken nuggets with sauce (a bunch) poured over the top. It doesnāt give you a choice to tip in person if you order online, it made me tip at least 15% of my receipt. Which is unacceptable. I should be able to choose how much I want to tip. Upon check out I was looking for a place to add my gate code to our apartment complex of which it did not give me an option for delivery instructions. Therefore, I called the store and was placed on hold for 20 minutes and hung up on three times. When I did get to speak with somebody the lady on the phone was very rude so I proceeded to asked to speak to a supervisor. She informed me that my gate code has been added to my account so I wouldnāt have to worry about it in the future. I didnāt cause a ruckus at that point because itās Saturday night so Iām sure they were busy. Itās advertised that for the safety of the customers, delivery drivers will wear gloves and all employees will wear gloves so nobody touches your pizza other than you. I have a low immunity and just had a baby so that sounded great to me but when the delivery driver arrived he was not wearing gloves. Our 10 year old was super excited for pizza tonight. When we opened the box the pizza didnāt have pepperoni on it, the cheesy bread sticks were burnt and the food was cold. The dip in the past has been warm but this time the marinara and the icing were cold. I was going to call the store back to complain but when I called I was immediately placed on hold again. Not even give an option to say, āsureā before placing me on hold. So I just hung up cause I didnāt want to be on hold again for 20 minutes. I wonāt be ordering from this Pizza Hut again. I ordered two large pizzas at this location and used EARNED reward points for one of the pizzas. Upon arrival to pick up my order, I was notified that the order was cancelled because they were out of large pan pizzas and offered to make the order with medium pan. I was fine with that. I informed the cashier that I used my reward points for one of the pizza. She stated that the rewards will be credited back to my account and would takes a few days to post. That meant that points were not available to place the order for the replacement pizza. I told the cashier that I really needed to use the points on the order, not to mention my children were in the car waiting and hungry. She relayed my concern to the supervisor on that shift who really showed me that she could care less and relayed back to me that there was nothing that she could do to accommodate me which I know wasnāt true. You just never know what someone may be going through or what a persons/family needs are in that present moment and to be so callous and uncaring is awful. Bottom line, the order should not have been cancelled until I was notified and given the option for something that was available especially if a cancellation would completely deprive a person of the ability to use points intended for the purchase. Saw a $4.99 Door dash charge, as well as the $26 Pizza Hut charge. Why am I being charged a delivery charge with pizza hut and then again by DoorDash? Tried calling the store to cancel about 10 different times. Can't cancel through the app, can't cancel online. I decided to show up in person and the door is LOCKED! Finally wait till a driver shows up to talk to them and I'm hardly greeted at the door by a woman saying "we're closed". If "closed", wouldn't the hours reflect that online, shouldn't online deliveries to this store be blocked at that time? I had to ask to cancel by name while she was trying to shut and re-lock the door. No info given as to when I'll be refunded. Nothing. This is insane. On top of that about 6 different cars pulled up to a locked door, and I, A RANDOM CUSTOMER, had to explain to people what was going on because of course people were expecting to at least be able to talk to someone about canceling their order.
