Donut Kingdom — Restaurant in Florida

First time customer review: I believe our customer service experience could've been better especially when I informed the employee it was our first time coming here so I wanted to know what the top sellers were so I can place my order but she seemed distracted and short with us as if we were bothering her even though we were the only ones in the shop. We only brought 1 ice cream cone and a few donuts just to try it out, and they were great. I wanted to order more, but the lack of customer service provided to us wasn't very welcoming, so we took our order and left despite me wanting to try some other things.

I did notice the employee had a earbud in her ear which could have attributed to the lack of service we received due to her being distracted. When communicating with customers I don't believe earbuds should be in their ears since this can cause a barrier in communication, which it did. After the employee tends to the customers then they should put their earbuds back in their ears.

On a rainy morning before I had a all hands on deck team meeting, I went to get coffee and donuts for my team. I went through the drive thru because it was raining and knew it would be a lot to carry out in the rain. When I pulled up I was the only one there but a line quickly formed behind me. With respect to those behind me and understanding I had a large order, I told Steven, the man helping me, that I would park and come in. He said not to worry and that if I could pull forward he would bring everything out once it was ready even though it was pouring down rain. Less than 5 minutes waiting, he did just that and he did it with a smile. I was overwhelmed with the high level of customer service. I was ecstatic to see that Donut Kingdom opened another store on North Monroe a few years ago. Time flies! If you’re looking for donuts that aren’t your traditional ones (although they do have some). Ever tried a donut with Captain Crunch on top of the icing? Unbelievably good! Donut Kingdom caters to all folks, including providing gluten-free donuts! If you want a cup of milk to go with your donut experience, they’ve got that too. You can find other Donut Kingdom sites around Tallahassee, so no matter where you are, you can find one closest to you. I’ve never been disappointed with any delicious donut from here.
