Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Tallahassee

In my opinion, most people don't bother to write a review unless they had a miserable experience, so I'm going to change that right now. I've been ordering pizza from this location for several years and have chatted with the owner on many occasions (because he works hands-on). The pizza is always fresh and made to my exact specifications. I've tried all the other chain pizza places and feel that Papa John's makes the freshest. On top of all that, they have wonderful discounts available during the year that makes it even better, and they routinely switch up the menu just to make it more tasty.

Just remember that the local store does not have any immediate connection with the online headquarters website, so don't get all bummed out if they don't understand when you get talking about some online special. I think this should be remedied by HQ, but don't blame the local guy. And NO I do not work for this place... just LOVE it. Thanks Papa Johns at 3808 N....

THE worst Papa John’s in town. I accidentally ordered at this location and I regretted it from the moment I placed the order. They called me as soon as I placed it to tell me they couldn’t make my pizza a stuffed pepperoni so I asked if they could make it just cheese stuffed and they said no, they could only make a regular pizza. The person calling me sounded so annoyed from the get, like I was the one messing up. I asked if they could just change the size to a bigger one in lieu of the missing stuffed pepperoni, they said no. Again, they sounded so annoyed I even asked. So I ended up adding an order of chicken papa bites on top of my normal pizza. When I got my pizza, it didn’t look uniform to the ingredients I picked not to mention it was the grossest-tasting pizza—below mediocre. Why, oh why, oh why did I order again? Here's how it went: Placed an order at 3:33pm, scheduled delivery for 6pm Used the automated answering system at 6:18pm, pressed 2 for order status, and it said delivery will happen at 6:10pm. Thought for a second they might have a time traveling DeLorean, but later decided that was ridiculous Called again at 6:39pm for an update. Rep said the order was ready, and they were waiting for DoorDash to pick it up Time passes. I'm watching a semi funny C-rated movie Called again at 7:41pm, defeated and hungry. I hear Hungry Howie's has stuffed crust. As a suggestion to future customers, try to select cash-payment in online checkout. It is likely impossible to outsource to DoorDash with cash payments, so they might be forced to use an in-house driver. Good luck,...
