AWFUL, If I could give this review a negative 10 I would. I have never been so disappointed in a salon in my life and I will never shut my mouth about how much trauma this place has caused me. I will write review after review on this establishment.I will not stop fighting till I get my full refund and a great apology for the way that I have been treated after trusting this salon for the last four years to do my hair. I invested in hair extensions after years of wanting them for my birthday. I had been charged 1,450$ for my hair install (875$ for four packs of ktips) just for application by the stylist and for the hair purchase of bellami 22 inch extensions (Rip off). The stylist had told me these extensions can last 3 months- four depending on hair growth and personal care. Not only do i brush my hair almost every hour of the day, I had also braided my hair before bed every night and had always blowdried my hair after washing fully. I had also spent another $200 on kerastase hair extension shampoo, conditioner, mask, and serum. Fast forward to two months of having my extensions in my hair, I have matting to the point where I cannot physically brush my hair, and have literal mold in my extensions. I contact the salon immediately where they tell me they can take a look when she is avaliable one week from the day I called! I had gone to a previous employee of haute heads who had informed me that this matter should be taken to court from how much fallout my hair had and from how terrible my matting was. Later, I had gone to Haute heads to meet with the stylist who had installed my hair. She said "this happens, its not the worst ive seen!". She also had not only ripped half my hair out using zero detangler after asking her while attempting to un-matte my hair she had charged me $50 for detangling only one of the matted tangles. Today I sit in my home after visiting four salons back home to try to unmatte my hair with zero luck. I am left with a head of barely no hair, needing to get a buzcut from no unmatting being able to get out, and a simple slap in the face by this salon. I will never trust another stylist here who will do anything to make money on you. I will be posting photos until this is recognized to prevent others the pain of loosing hair the way I have from this service. Here is a few photos from matting. I have a whole portfolio of...
Read moreI don't mean this to sound dramatic, but I have truly never been so unhappy with a haircut in my life.
I thought maybe I would just need some time to get used to the change but every single day is a battle and I absolutely hate seeing my reflection now. It is so frustrating to look in the mirror each day and not recognize yourself (in a bad way!). Too heavy of a chunk was cut clear across the front of my face and it was not tapered into softer long layers where there was still some body hidden below the short pieces. It feels like a mistake, and I can't just add the hair back to it.
The worst part though is my hair is falling out and noticeably thinning since the cut, and because such a huge chunk of hair was cut off around my face, I am struggling to hide the thin areas at my scalp and style it. I have always had the opposite "problem" where my hair was very thick, but I would much rather go back to that. This style just isn't me, at all, and much more of the hair was cut off around the face than I expected, leaving it too short to pin back too. If it was a couple of strands that were too short, fine, but it's literally a chunk and it reminds me of the pre-teen awkwardness of growing out bangs.
I've been to this salon a few times but switched stylists this time around because my usual girl was no longer working there. I have no idea why this resulted so horribly this time around because I really liked the new stylist's energy and personality.
I know it's just hair, but the experience has shaken me in a way I can't really explain. Maybe someone else would be perfectly happy with this look, but it isn't me. I feel like I've lost much more than just hair.
The photo only shows one side but it's like that on the other...

My stylist was very sweet. I went in for a straightening treatment and a color. I have had straightening treatments done in the past, which is why I wanted one again. My only issue was. I wasn't really explained the product used. Given a rough estimate of time and price. It took alot longer then expected and the color I asked for was the darkest brown they have so when they came out with a light one I was surprised. It's been a couple of days and I just washed it and I blew it out. Because in the past that's all that was needed. I noticed some pieces of my hair was frizzy wavy. So for the amount I paid and I left a pretty hefty tip. I don't think it was worth the price. I paid a fraction of that up north when my hair was waist length and my hair lasted 6mths before I needed my hair touched up. I'm not a confortantional person so I didn't say anything and just left. Also I noticed my hair up front near the roots were more stiff and didn't have much movement. Again my stylist was the absolute sweetest. Just wish there was more transparency in how much I will more than likely pay by the end of service and getting told it wouldn't be near a certain price for it to be very close to that price lol and for the treatment to last longer than a couple of washes by the way...
