Five Guys — Restaurant in Tallahassee

My experience with five guys on Thomasville Road.I must say it wasn’t pleasant at all. I came in i was greeted by the guy he ask what was i having i explained to him i wanted a patty melt and the cajun fries.Fast forward paid for my food ,waiting on my food it’s been like 20mins now so i’m like did they forget about me mind y’all the manager was helping she was preparing the food and she’s a white lady .So i came to the counter and told him i’m number 49 mind you they calling the other numbers that’s 51,52,53,54(ALL WHITE PEOPLE)So he notice i didn’t get my food so he proceeded to start making it , he offer a milkshake for the wait .Ok cool ,and the crazy part about the wait all the black people kept not getting their food that’s all you see keep coming to the counter.When i got my food i was finally happy to see my food just get my food and my patty melt was raw and uncooked and they made it so messy.I was very unsatisfied and i really feel like they are racist to black people....

Every so often, my boyfriend and I will have dinner at 5 Guys for a casual date night. The food is always delicious, and this evening was no different. However, tonight we came in about 30 minutes before closing and the service we received was INCREDIBLE. Their were 3 individuals working- each of them greeted us with genuine enthusiasm (even the guy working the grill chatted with us). Our order came out quick and perfectly cooked. We were checked on not once, but multiple times. Rather than feeling rushed, we were welcomed to stay and enjoy our meal. The service were given at the Thomasville Rd. location is hands down the best customer service I have ever received at a fast food spot in Tally. Thank you to the 3 who were working tonight for going above and beyond! You made our experience much more than just 'burgers & fries' and the pride you take in your work does not...

Usually my visit here is exceptional however today was so upsetting that all was ruined!!! My fries were for the 1st time evah...cold!!! I gently went to the counter to inform and return them bc I couldn't wait for another order. He prejudged me and showed no respect for his elder human, females, and most importantly a black woman who frequently stops by here bc of the food and the service...they are always so pleasant...he questioned me about my arrival time, as if I was lying about the state of the fries. I always dine in and eat my fries midway thru my burger. I have never experienced this!! He insulted my integrity as if I wanted something free!!! Refunded my $$ like it was his last bucks and quite snappish, too...I'm so hurt and frustrated with 5 guys or at least this location!!! Shame on you...senior citizen...
