New Tampa Performing Arts Center — Attraction in Tampa

This gem of dance, song, music, theatre, and performance adds a true vein of culture to the New Tampa community. We enjoyed an evening of Alexis Carra singing, story-telling, and sharing her journey from Tampa to Broadway to Hollywood to Tampa. Manager Mark opened the show with a warm welcome and a sincere apology about the online ticket sale platform, a work in progress. The bar sells adult beverages and family-friendly drinks before the shows and during intermission. The center also offers classes for all ages in dance, theatre, and all things performance. This is a beautiful new performing arts center in the New Tampa area! We saw the musical Shrek performed with very high quality by the New Tampa Players community theatre group (which also has lots of professionals). The building itself is so nice with raised rows of seating so that you can see over people's heads in front of you easily. The friendly staff, beautiful lobby and restrooms, and large parking lot also add to the nice experience. A very new facility. We have used this for the first time. The audio system was absolutely great. We had a classical Indian dance - Bharatanatyam program. Absolutely enjoyed the venue. The location was great for us. The facility is still being worked on .. like the restroom signs were missing and I am sure they are adding more signs and board to make this place even greater.
