Live Edge Slabs, LLC — Local services in Tarpon Springs

After working with many custom furniture makers throughout the US we thankfully found Brad and Live Edge Slabs. The fact they were local was a big benefit, but was not the major factor on our decision. Our dining room table was the final piece of our home remodel. Brad was their at the shop when we arrived unannounced on a weekend, he asked what we were looking for and LISTENED to what we had to say. He said I think I have a piece here that is right in line with what your thinking. He showed us the piece and gave us the information and let my wife and I discuss in private. We decided the piece was BETTER than what we were thinking and he went on to show us other options he had available. Ultimately we decided on the spot we wanted to have Brad and his company be our choice based in feeling they deliver what they say. They have been honest throughout the process and when we contacted them we never waited more than 24hrs for response. And in most cases we heard back within an hour or 2. Out table was delivered on schedule and exactly as expected and what Brad had shared with us. After exhaustive searching and talking with other custom makers, we consider ourselves SO LUCKY we found them. Thank you to Brad and his crew for the final piece of our remodel. We could not be happier with our choice in going to them. All family and friends are amazed at the look and feel. Picture does not do justice on how this piece splashes the entry to our home.

Thank goodness we happened upon this place on FB Marketplace! We had been looking for a live edge table in the Tampa/Sarasota area for several months (visiting stores, not getting help nor assistance, being charged for moving slabs, having to make appointments, etc). As novices to the live edge world, we didn't even know what questions to ask, much less know what the finished product would look like! We pulled into Live Edge Slabs LLC on a Saturday and were greeted by a knowledgeable, friendly staff that showed us slab after slab (they moved them around), sprayed them with water (so we knew what it would look like!), showed us finished products, educated us on the live edge, and talked to us about the wood & stain, etc. We picked the slab, discussed the proper legs, and we were done! In less than an hour we were on our way and the beautiful table arrived this week (professionally delivered and installed with a smile). I cannot say enough about this business, it's owners, and the staff. Thank you for turning this project into a pleasurable experience...

Very beautiful one-of-a-kind tables, but are expensive. The warehouse is a wonderful place to visit with all the finished and unfinished wood. The owner and crew are very professional and responsive. We bought a slab for a coffee table and had it finished in the customary/traditional way used by the store. We were disappointed that the final product did not have the same smooth finish/shine as those that we saw at the warehouse. When the table was delivered, the shine on the table was inconsistent and certainly not like the finished ones in the warehouse. It reflects differently under the light and you can feel it with your hand. So ... buyer beware... make sure that you are OK with an uneven and choppy finish compared to the finished tables that you see in the warehouse. We asked that it be repaired/redone and unfortunately the table came back with the same...
