Culver’s — Restaurant in Taylor

While typically I avoid spending valuable time writing reviews, this one was very much necessary. I spoke moments ago with a manager after returning home from this Culvers with great dissatisfaction, incredible frustration and annoyance.

I decided to order our food from the inside versus the drive through as it was crowded and this location is known for moving exceptionally slow while waiting for an order.

After placing the order I patiently waited as I sat off to the side. I happen to notice that an employee was attempting to put onion rings in a bag but was having difficulty. I kept my eyes on what was happening as I also had an order of onion rings.

The employee dropped the bag spilling the onion rings all over the counter. This initially did not alarm me as I just assumed that the onion rings would be tossed and a new order would replace this common mistake while handling food. However, 2 lady employees noticed the problem and quickly stepped in front of the spill as to allow the employee to secretly place the onion rings back into the bag for delivery to a customer.

Noticing this I approached the counter and manager with my observation and stated that if that order was for me, I didn't want it and I wanted a fresh order.

They announced a fresh order being dropped but then came to me within a minute saying here is your order. Obviously, they were trying to give me the same onion rings.WOW!

In addition the second order, a kid's cheeseburger had none of the 5 toppings I requested. Very poor customer service, and unsanitary practices. Even without COVID, what a terrible health practice to allow food to fall everywhere and then serve it!!

A manger attempted to convince me that this order was fresh, but I know better. No regard for good health practices and poor service. I suggest you make your burgers at home....very questionable competencies in food service and no integrity here.

Moving forward...can't trust this fast food...burgers @ home now! Real...

It was our first time here & Culver's didn't dissapoint either, the place was a bit hard to find but our GPS got us there just fine. I see it as a nice intermediary between fast food & a comfortable sit down restaurant, I found Culver's online & noticed that they served local beef (I got a double with cheese which had a nice flavor to it, almost like a grilled taste - using fresh local beef instead of non local frozen beef is always a better choice 🍔), the crew brought our meal to the table (you are given a #), everything was hot, including the French fries 🍟, nice beverage selection & be sure & save room for their Custard Ice Cream 🍨 ( I got the make your own Sundae with Chocolate Custard, Hot Fudge & fresh raspberries, it's definitely worth it!!!), all our food for the two of us, including dessert was just a tad over $20, you could spend that easily at other fast food establishments & not get the same quality, freshness, flavor & two custard sundaes. The inside interior had higher than normal ceilings (at least for fast food restaurants) which gave an open airy feel to the atmosphere, the floor in the dining area was carpeted, lots of windows (smaller windows above & larger windows just below them), when you enter you are met with a nicely colored tile (and all of the crew was friendly, helpful & worked together well), I say all of this additional information because everything about Culver's added to a great casual (fast food) dining experience, we will be back & I would highly recommend it above all other fast food establishments! Give it a try & see...

Nasty. Good was not really even Hot. And we ate inside. It was about 930pm. Dude at the counter was Sweeping. Then took our order. Back to sweeping. I watched him while We waiting for food. Cause I was not going to let him touch our food without washing his hands. Or gloves. So he didn't, but the Younger kid brought the food to us. Said here. I said, may i please have like 4 mayo packs. YUPP. (Rolled Eyes) I asked when I ordered for that as well. AnywYs. Ate the food. Just not the same anymore. No flavor, taste old. Not fresh. Used to like a Caulvers Burger because it was So Fresh. Last two times was nor good at all. And the Workers are Rude. Thennnn, Asked for the flavor of the day custard. It was like Loaded Oreo or something. Still watching Dude who sweeping. A girl proceeds to get my Stuff The Custard is just like water. Maybe a little thicker, right? Im just watching. Thinking, you about to give that to me?? She does. Im like....... What is that? I didn't order a Shake? (Thinner then a shake). She said. Its been sitting all day?? I waa like and you serve it? She said, I can make you another fresh. I was like sure. She does and Its just melted all the custard. Idk what was going on inside the freezer, but I am sure it was not at the right temperature. I took it and just left. (Put it in the freezer when I got home, ate it the next day). I think the place needs better management or something. Or at least people who care about what they serve...
