I ordered flowers for my sister on February 8th for her birthday today, February 9th. I placed the order at 9:17 AM in order to give the shop ample time to prepare the order for my sister. As of 12 PM today my sister had still not received her flowers. I contacted the shop and spoke with a woman. She said the truck that brought the specific flowers for my sister's arrangement was not there yet, and would be arriving promptly. I was worried, as I thought the flowers would have been there earlier and wanted my sister to receive them before she left work. The woman reassured me that the flowers would definitely get there before 4.
At 3:55 I called again, as my sister still had not received her flowers. I spoke with the owner, Christy, and upon expressing my frustration, she was nothing short of rude and dismissive. She claimed I had told the previous woman to deliver the flowers by 4, and the delivery man was "3 minutes away" at 3:55. She said that their truck had broken down, and it was beyond her control. I tried to calmly explain my upset, and that I had in fact not told the woman to deliver the flowers at 4, and she refused to believe me and stated again that it was out of her control. She also told me that it was Valentine's week and they have a lot of orders coming in and when that sort of thing happens, they "have to start making calls". When I asked where my call was, I did not get an answer.
She did not offer any sort of reconciliation or reimbursement. It's not even the fact that she didn't offer to reimburse me, it was the manner in which I was spoken to. I understand that things happen, but I should have been notified and when I called in with my concerns, I should have been met with more sympathy. As our conversation progressed, my tone came to reflect more of my anger, and I am sorry about that.
I am incredibly disappointed with this business and the manner in which I was treated. I wanted to support a local business and to give my sister a lovely surprise on a day that she normally dreads. I spent $106 for her work to have to contact her to pick up her flowers tomorrow because Christy's Flower Stall delivered them after hours. I will not be ordering from this shop again.
I hope that in the future Christy treats her "loyal customers" with more kindness...

When I placed my order for a Memorial service by phone at shop we went on line together looked at a photo to get a general idea of what we were looking for,well we when the flowers arrived to the Church in Southern Pines we were not there. When my Mom saw the arrangement we were very disappointed, it was nothing like described, it looked like someone just threw something together quickly and sent out.
