Shylock's Pawn II — Local services in Tazewell

Take note this pawn shop does not take offers at all. Its basically a retail store where the EXTREMELY high price listed is the price they are selling at. At best they will tell you "price listed no tax". Workers are pathological liars at one point telling me "we can't take trades because we have 200 guitars waiting in the back that are going to come out in a couple weeks" only for them to have a good laugh about it later. They ask retail prices on SEVERELY broken items. And mind you they also want cash on every trade even if you are offering more value than what they are listing their item at. Thats not to mention they want you to pay to take certain items. Thats right you dont get paid for what your bringing in if they dont like it.

These are awful business practices and i hope one day they will change from their Pawn Stars attitude because they used to be a good place to deal with. I will not...

I was warned about this pawn shop but wanted to see for myself. They have a great inventory but the prices are definitely listed on the high side. All to be expected for negotiation. The staff were very helpful and kind. My problem is with the ?manager?. To buy or sell anything you have to deal with the old man behind the counter who is not helpful at all. He seems to be ignoring you and is usually always snaking on food sitting on his stool.
