Lulu Bouquet — Local services in Teaneck Township

I live out of state and chose to purchase flowers for my Mother in law for Mother’s Day from Lulus based on the 5 star reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not 5 star. No confirmation of delivery was offered without my inquiry. Next in less than 24 hours after delivery the flowers were wilting. I reached out and sent a picture of the current status of flowers. Much to my dismay the reply was insinuating blame on recipient. I’m not sure what type of customer service tactic that is but it was a huge turn off to say the least. The recipient is well versed in caring for plants and flowers her home is filled with them indoors and out. The response to my reply was insinuating that I was upset. That was not the case I was however disappointed that the company representative chose recipient blame as a method for customer service. A choice consciously made by them to handle a situation. I did not ask for another arrangement I figured it was an expensive loss and lesson learned. Yet another email arrived stating another arrangement was sent out in a clear vase so water level could be visualized and randomly written “nothing upset about it”. Just the cattiness, judgement and blaming of customer is enough to make me write this review. It would never be you or your flowers in this instance. Lulu Bouquet went above and beyond my expectations. The flower arrangement was unique and gorgeous. The ordering was easy and my friend was thrilled when she received the arrangement. The people at Lulu were immediately responsive when I sent a question through their chat option. Imagine- reaching a live person! I asked if they could include a specific type of wine and they said yes! And if these reasons aren’t enough to convince you, they sent me three photos of the flowers so that I could see the actual arrangement. I’ve never seen such attention to detail and customer service.
